Ídolo da torcida alviverde, o atual comentarista da TV Bandeirante não escondeu que, além da vitória palmeirense e da boa vantagem na semifinal da Copa do Brasil, a derrota do técnico rival, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, também o deixou bastante animado.

"Chupa, Luxa !!!!!!!", postou Edmundo, em seu Twitter, após o primeiro gol do Palmeiras na noite desta quarta.

"Luxa chupa outra vez, seu... !!!", completou, minutos depois, quando o Verdão marcou o segundo gol. "Agora é esperar o nosso adversário da final !!!!".

O técnico e o ex-jogador travam uma batalha judicial desde 2006, quando Edmundo entrou com ação cobrando dois cheques não quitados, supostamente "sem fundos", de Luxemburgo. Na época, os valores totalizavam cerca de R$ 400 mil, mas hoje a dívida está estimada em quase R$ 2 milhões.

A decisão favorável a Edmundo já foi anunciada pelo Superior Tribunal de Justiça no ano passado, mas não foram encontrados bens suficientes no nome de Luxa para quitar a quantia.
