O presidente da UEFA, Michel Platini, manteve-se contrário contra o uso de tecnologia na linha na Europa, ao mesmo tempo em que a FIFA testa o equipamento no Mundial de Clubes no Japão. O dirigente francês afirmou que os árbitros atrás do gol, utilizado em competições europeias desde 2009, são uma saída mais barata para resolver a questão.

"Eu prefiro dar 50 milhões de euros (valor estimado pela UEFA para introduzir a tecnologia em suas competições) em categorias de base do que em tecnologia que vai servir para um ou dois gols por ano. Se o árbitro atrás do gol está a um metro da linha e tem bons óculos, ele pode ver se a bola esta dentro ou não", afirmou, em entrevista coletiva na Malásia.

Curiosamente, o debate em torno da tecnologia na linha do gol ganhou força justamente após a disputa da Eurocopa de 2012, quando os árbitros estiveram atrás do gol. Na partida contra a Inglaterra, a Ucrânia um gol não validado, levando o presidente da FIFA, Joseph Blatter cobrar mudanças no futebol. Platini sempre se manifestou contra a decisão.

Já o presidente em exercício da Confederação Asiática de Futebol, Zhang Jilong, afirmou que prefere aguardar os testes no Mundial de Clubes antes de tomar qualquer decisão. "É algo novo. Depois do Mundial, vamos ver se poderá ser adotado em todas as competições ou não", afirmou.

Discordo completamente, agora mesmo em dos jogos finais do campeonato brasileiro da Serie A, mais precisamente na partida entre Fluminense e Sport Recife, a bola ultrapassou a linha do gol e o juiz não validou e mesmo tendo uma múmia paralitica atrás do gol, não se fez nada, e depois este clube foi rebaixado à segunda divisão nacional um grande prejuízo, monetário, além de  prejudicar todo o planejamento da instituição.

Portanto, no nosso entender, precisamos sim nos adequar a estas mudanças, pois estamos correndo mais, estamos virando realmente máquinas de jogar futebol dentro do campo, duas coisas precisam acabar imediatamente no futebol brasileiro, a primeira é termos um departamento de arbitragens profissional com os árbitros sendo tratados e pagos como tal, um jogador chega a ganhar 3 milhões de reais por mês, um técnico + de 1 milhão e um árbitro ganha apenas se compararmos, o equivalente a algumas doses de pinga.

Quando aqui no Brasil se começou a usar o “spray” para marcar o local da falta a ser cobrada, a resistência foi enorme, mas, agora todos estão usando e se mostrou uma medida bastante eficaz. Temos que entender que tudo na vida se transforma e não podemos querer andar de trem movido à lenha, quando temos trem bala, movidos a eletricidade e que andam 100 mais rápido além de não poluir ou cortar árvores.

IFAB DÁ LUZ VERDE À LINHA DE GOL COM TECNOLOGIA / IFAB GIVE GREEN LIGHT TO GOAL-LINE TECHNOLOGY.

O International Football Association Board (IFAB), ou seja, a Mesa Diretora Internacional da FIFA nesta quinta-feira deu luz verde à introdução de tecnologia na linha do gol, aprovando os dois sistemas que foram testados nos últimos meses.

Das oito empresas que participaram da primeira rodada de testes, apenas dois sistemas - Hawk-Eye e GoalRef - concluíram com êxito o processo e podem agora candidatar-se a serem licenciados pela FIFA com o objetivo de implantarem a linha de gol com tecnologia. O Secretário-geral da FIFA Jerome Valcke disse que a tecnologia estará em vigor para dezembro na copa do Mundo de Clubes em Tóquio, junto com a Copa das Confederações 2013 e Copa de 2014 no Brasil.

Os dois sistemas funcionam com tecnologias completamente diferentes. GoalRef cria o equivalente a uma onda de rádio com uma cortina de luz. The International Football Association Board (IFAB) on Thursday gave the green light to the introduction of goal-line technology by approving both systems that have been tested in recent months.

Of the eight companies that took part in the first round of tests, only two systems – Hawk-Eye and GoalRef – successfully completed the process and can now apply to become FIFA goal-line technology licensees. FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke said the technology will be in place for December’s Club World Cup in Tokyo, along with the 2013 Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The two systems work using completely different technology. GoalRef creates the radio equivalent of a light curtain. Low magnetic fields are produced around the goal, and as soon as the ball, which is fitted with a compact electronic device, fully crosses the line, a minor change in the magnetic field is detected, thus allowing the exact position of the ball to be established. Hawk-Eye uses six to eight high-speed cameras set up at different angles at each end of the pitch to calculate the exact position of the ball. The data from the cameras is then transferred to video software creating a 3D graphic image of the ball’s trajectory.

Following Thursday’s announcement, Patrick Nelson, an IFAB member from Northern Ireland, told reporters: “This is a long-lasting decision and will resonate around the world. We look forward to its implementation over the years.” The English Premier League, which has been a long-time supporter of goal-line technology, added in a statement: “We will engage in discussions with both Hawk-Eye and GoalRef in the near future with a view to introducing goal-line technology as soon as is practically possible.”

The IFAB’s backing for goal-line technology comes after UEFA president Michel Platini last week reiterated his opposition to the initiative by stating that its introduction into football would be a “historical mistake”. By contrast, FIFA president Sepp Blatter called the introduction of goal-line technology a “necessity” as co-host Ukraine exited Euro 2012 following yet another controversial incident. Ukraine was defeated 1-0 by England in Donetsk on June 19, but appeared to have legitimate claims for an equalizer turned down. Marko Devic’s 62^nd minute shot appeared to have crossed the line before it was cleared by England defender John Terry, only for the official standing on the goal-line to fail to signal for a goal. The incident is one of a number of high-profile cases to have arisen in recent years.

Platini, who is widely considered to be Blatter’s heir apparent, has made no secret of his preference for the five-official system being used at Euro 2012 over the use of such technology. Along with Euro 2012, the system has also been trialed over the past two years in the Champions League and Europa League, along with the Asian Football Confederation’s President’s Cup and competitions in Brazil, France, Morocco and Qatar.

The IFAB also unanimously agreed that the use of two additional assistant referees be approved citing “the support they can provide in officiating football matches”.

FIFA announces new goal-line technology tests /FIFA anuncia testes de nova tecnologia na linha do gol.

A FIFA anunciou um novo conjunto de testes para a tecnologia na linha do gol nesta terça-feira com a perspectiva de um sistema, possivelmente, sendo introduzido a tempo para a Copa de 2014 no Brasil.

O órgão regulador do futebol mundial, convidou os fabricantes a tomar parte em um processo de teste em duas fases técnica entre setembro 2011 e março de 2012, que será verificada por um instituto técnico independente. Cerca de 10 diferentes sistemas de tecnologia da linha de gol foram testados até à data, mas a FIFA e o Estado maior, da International Football Association Board (IFAB), até agora não foram convencidos.

"Os resultados finais desta avaliação será apresentada ao International Board, em reunião extraordinária em julho de 2012", disse a FIFA em um comunicado. "Os testes serão realizados em duas fases em um estádio de futebol seleccionados pela respectivos fornecedores de tecnologia, em consulta com a FIFA."

A primeira fase de testes, entre setembro e dezembro de 2011 irá verificar o sucesso da meta exigida pontuação do indicador para uma pulseira usada pelo árbitro.

Sistemas pré-seleccionados, que terão de ter pelo menos 90% de sucesso, só assim irá avançar para a segunda fase, em que a FIFA vai estar à procura de 100% de precisão nos testes envolvendo diferentes tipos de disparos em condições de jogo simulado.

Pois é, agora perto das eleições o presidente se movimenta com todo tipo de idéias, antes relegadas, agora em destaque, promete milhões as Federações, comissão para dinamizar o futebol, novas tecnologias, até a Interpol vai levar alguns (e não são poucos $$$ milhões).

Mas, as revelações de suborno, de propinas, de venda de votos continuam, e agora novamente a FA vem com mais uma, atacando diretamente o João Havelange e seu genro o Ricardo Teixeira e o que é pior, até o Platini se presta a dar seu voto ao Joseph Blatter para garantir sua eleição em 2015.
