Vitorioso nas eleições o Flamengo, presidente Eduardo Bandeira de Mello quer promover choque de gestão no clube rubro-negro; do seu lado, conta com um time de executivos de peso. Nova gestão quer que time fique mais parecido com uma empresa para retomar glórias do passado.

Nesta segunda, os sócios do Flamengo escolheram seu novo presidente para os próximos três anos. Sai Patricia Amorim e entra Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, que chefiou por 25 anos a área de meio ambiente do BNDES (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social). Sua eleição não marca apenas a entrada de um novato nos quadros do Flamengo. Ela promete chacoalhar a gestão do rubro-negro, com a colocação de executivos de peso nos principais cargos administrativos do clube carioca.

Há pouco mais de um mês, Bandeira de Mello era um desconhecido para os associados. Acabou assumindo a campanha no meio do caminho, no vácuo deixado por Wallim Vasconcellos. Também egresso do BNDES, o empresário teve a candidatura impugnada pelo fato de ser sócio do Flamengo há menos de cinco anos. Bandeira de Mello tem 34 anos de clube.

Se as cabeças mudaram, o discurso da chapa permaneceu o mesmo: gestão moderna, com a criação de um conselho de administração composto por empresários. A ideia é replicar o que acontece dentro de uma empresa, colocando executivos bem remunerados em cargos-chaves - e cobrando pela atuação de cada um no cumprimento das metas.

Para desatar o nó nas finanças do Flamengo, por exemplo, o escalado será Carlos Langoni, diretor da Fundação Getúlio Vargas e ex-presidente do Banco Central. Sua missão não será das mais fáceis.

Segundo levantamento da consultoria BDO Brazil, o time fechou 2011 com uma dívida de 355,4 milhões de reais, engordada por pendências fiscais e trabalhistas. Apesar de ser apontado como a equipe de futebol com maior torcida no país - com 30 milhões de rubro-negros -, o Flamengo ficou apenas no quinto lugar entre os times com maior receita, com 185 milhões de reais embolsados no ano passado.

"Indiscutivelmente ele tem a maior marca do Brasil. É preciso maximizar seu potencial de ganho", afirma Amir Somoggi, consultor em marketing e gestão esportiva. Em 2011, metade do dinheiro arrecadado pelo Flamengo veio da negociação de cotas de TV. A divisão de patrocínio e publicidade respondeu por 24% desse bolo. Mas o clube está sem patrocínio master há mais de um ano e meio.

“Com 10% da torcida do Flamengo, o Internacional fatura mais com royalties e faz um trabalho de gestão de marca muito mais eficiente”, disse Somoggi. Para equalizar a situação, a nova gestão de marketing ficará sob gestão de Luiz Eduardo Baptista, que também é presidente da Sky. 

Outras áreas estratégicas também tiveram mudanças na linha de frente. Rodolfo Landim, ex-EBX e sócio da Maré Investimentos, assume a vice-presidência de patrimônio. Alexandre Póvoa, sócio da gestora europeia Canepa, será o novo vice-presidente de esportes olímpicos. Para o futebol, a ideia é eleger um diretor executivo remunerado, ainda sem nome definido.

Dá certo?

Não é a primeira vez que um time elege a profissionalização como forma de arrumar a casa. No Brasil, o Coritiba resolveu abraçar a causa depois de ter sido rebaixado em 2009. Vilson Ribeiro de Andrade, atual presidente do conselho administrativo do clube e ex-CEO do banco HSBC, assumiu a cadeira em 2010 e instituiu um rigoroso sistema de metas. As finanças também passaram por um pente-fino.

Em dois anos, os associados subiram de 2.500 para 31.000 pessoas. E o Coxa viu seu faturamento crescer 140%, chegando a 75 milhões de reais. Lá fora, a ascensão do Barcelona também costuma ser lembrada como exemplo de reviravolta – e das grandes. Quando assumiu o clube, em 2003, Ferran Soriano investiu numa reestruturação de peso. As dívidas foram equacionadas e o Barça passou a ter fluxo de caixa. Foi nessa época que surgiu o slogan "Mais que um clube", fruto de uma estratégia para colocar o clube na boca do povo.

Tanto deu certo que o cartola acabou escrevendo um livro de gestão ("A Bola Não Entra por Acaso"). Também virou uma espécie de consultor para o Corinthians a partir de 2007.

Ainda que a realidade de alguns times dê mostras que é possível atravessar o caminho das pedras, o Flamengo tem, na opinião do consultor Amir Somoggi, outro inimigo a enfrentar. “Não adianta falar em análises técnicas e abordagens mercadológicas, se não houver equilíbrio dentro do clube. E o Flamengo tem um problema crônico que é o seu ambiente político”, pontuou. Longe das quatro linhas, o novo time de empresários tem três anos para resolver o problema. Resta saber se ele chegará lá. 

Certamente que tem tudo para fazer sucesso, o que resta saber é se o quadro de conselheiros do clube aprovará a nova administração, e que os que fazem a politica do caranguejo, deixem este resquício de lado, porque este é um velho entrave nas modernidades que estas instituições arcaicas e em desuso tem, mas, precisam mudar, sob pena de fecharem as portas. 

O único impedimento que vejo, é que nenhum deles tem entendimento do que é o futebol, dentro ou fora do campo, até porque o futebol tem razões que a própria razão desconhece. Mas assino embaixo, até porque já chegaram no fundo do poço faz tempo.

Mas, como já temos mostras de administrações modernas feitas com sucesso, duvido muito que os sócios conselheiros queiram acabar de enterrar jogando esta última par de cal neste grande clube do futebol mundial e brasileiro chamado Flamengo.

'O técnico tem de ser o melhor agora, não o que foi melhor há 10 anos', diz Carlos Alberto Torres sobre novo treinador da Seleção

O capitão da Seleção campeã mundial em 1970, Carlos Alberto Torres, criticou nesta quarta-feira a decisão da CBF de escolher Luiz Felipe Scolari como substituto de Mano Menezes.

Durante um talk show ao lado de Zico, na Soccerex - evento de negócios do futebol na Zona Sul do Rio -, disse que o comandante do penta em 2002 não vive um bom momento e, por isso, não deveria estar no topo da lista. Ele citou, como exemplos, Abel Braga, campeão brasileiro pelo Fluminense, e Tite, campeão da Libertadores com o Corinthians, além de Muricy Ramalho (Santos) e Vanderlei Luxemburgo (Grêmio).

- Não acho que um técnico que colocou um time na segunda divisão este ano deva assumir a seleção. Aí vão dizer: "Ah, mas foi campeão em 2002!". Mas isso foi em 2002! Tem de ser o mesmo critério usado para jogador, o técnico tem de ser o melhor agora, não o que foi melhor há 10 anos.

Estão falando muito do Felipão, mas não sei se é o ideal. Há profissionais que estão à frente no momento. Talvez, Muricy, Luxemburgo, Tite, ou o campeão brasileiro, o Abel - analisou Torres, lembrando que Felipão treinou o Palmeiras durante grande parte da má campanha que causou o rebaixamento do clube neste ano.

Companheiro de Carlos Alberto Torres no tricampeonato de 70, Paulo César Caju também defendeu a vinda de Guardiola para o lugar de Mano Menezes e criticou a escolha da CBF por Felipão. Para o ex-jogador, a volta do técnico pentacampeão é um retrocesso.

- Temos uma chance única de resgatar nosso futebol. O Guardiola está aí há um ano, doido para assumir a seleção brasileira. Mas vamos insistir na mesma coisa, um cara cara que rebaixou o Palmeiras e não arruma nada há 10 anos - afirmou Cajú durante a Soccerex.

Torres ressaltou, contudo, a dificuldade enfrentada por Mano Menezes para renovar a equipe e fez questão de dizer que acredita em uma seleção brasileira forte para 2014.

- Depois da África, acabou uma geração. Então ele foi obrigado a fazer uma renovação total. O erro do Mano, a meu ver, foi convocar atletas que não tinham condição de vestir a camisa da seleção. Mas acho que agora há uma base e o Brasil será muito forte em 2014.

Zico discursou em tom mais político, afirmando que acha todos os nomes citados muito bons. Os questionamentos passaram então à possibilidade que chegou a ser ventilada de o ex-técnico do Barcelona, Pep Guardiola, ser convidado para assumir a seleção brasileira.

- Não posso ter nada contra um estrangeiro assumir, eu sou técnico estrangeiro em outros países. Mas acho que há gente capacitada no Brasil para o cargo. O Mano não conseguiu aproveitar quase nada de 2010 e não se faz uma seleção da noite para o dia.

Torres, em seguida, disse que aprovaria a vinda de Guardiola, desde que houvesse tempo para implantar uma nova filosofia de treinamentos e táticas.

- Não tenho nada contra um estrangeiro assumir, desde que tenha tempo para chegar e colocar em prática uma nova cultura, uma nova filosofia, especialmente de treinamentos, que são muito diferentes na Europa.

Informado, já no fim do talk show, de que Carlos Alberto Parreira e Felipão estariam confirmados para os cargos de diretor de seleções e treinador, respectivamente, Zico foi só elogio:

- São pessoas que ajudaram o Brasil a conquistar títulos mundiais e acho que o Brasil está bem entregue. Tenho o maior respeito e carinho e a felicidade de ser amigo dos dois.

Assino embaixo nas declarações do Carlos Alberto e de Zico, menos na de Paulo Cesar “Caju”, entendo perfeitamente que podemos muito bem ser chamados para ser técnicos em outros Países, como Zico afirma e é, mas uma coisa é uma coisa, o Brasil não pode nem deve chamar alguém de fora para vir ensinar nosso futebol. Pode até chamar para nos dar aulas de marketing, planejamento, futebol profissional, desenvolvimento, etc, etc., mas nunca no futebol jogado.  

E quando Romário fala impropérios sobre esta situação, também assino embaixo, pois como ele, existem poucos no mundo, dentro de campo e fora dele, já mostrou que de otário não tem nada. Precisamos sim, mudar esta situação do futebol brasileiro, e se já havia um nome, porque esconder, não faz sentido.

Outra coisa que devemos ter em mente é a questão dos rendimentos, ontem estive conversando sobre o Parreira ser o diretor de Seleções, e lembro que o Andrés Sanchez, recebia 50.000 mensal + despesas pagas,  será que o Carlos Alberto Parreira irá querer assumir com um piso salarial desse, além de que um Técnico como Felipão que recebia em torno de 600.000  mensais do Palmeiras, vai querer baixar para 1/3 disso, que é o que a CBF paga. E o próprio Pep, viria ser Técnico da Seleção sem olhar o salário, por quê? Porque sabe que este é o melhor emprego no futebol mundial, quem assumir estará na mídia do mundo.

Faz-se necessário que a múmia paralítica que assumiu a CBF, tenha um colegiado de notáveis que trabalham no e com futebol, não se pode passar por sobre o interesse nacional pois o que ele fez foi colocar alguém que lhe interessa somente, alguém de sua amizade e este cargo transcende a isso, além é claro de precisar fazer uma enquete nacional com o povo, com os técnicos, jornalistas, enfim, até com os próprios jogadores, para se decidir quem seria o novo Técnico de nossa seleção, pois a ditadura já acabou e faz tempo. Ou ele pensa que é o Senhor dos Anéis, além de que, este cargo é maior e mais importante que o de ser presidente do Brasil, ou alguém tem dúvida, eu não.

10 RAZÕES PARA GUARDIOLA SER TÉCNICO DA SELEÇÃO BRASILEIRA / 10 REASONS TO GUARDIOLA WILL BE THE HEAD COACH AT OUR NATIONAL SQUAD

Logo após a saída de Mano Menezes, o diário Lance! Trouxe a informação

de que Pep Guardiola estaria disposto a assumir o posto de Técnico da

Seleção Brasileira, caso houvesse o convite da CBF. 

Há riscos importantes para ambos os lados numa decisão dessas, como o

pouco prazo até a Copa e a impossibilidade de um trabalho intensivo, já que a

Seleção se reúne esporadicamente. Mas esses problemas acompanharão

qualquer um que venha a ser o técnico escolhido, independente de sua

nacionalidade, e são fruto do erro inicial de substituir (ou demorar a

substituir) o técnico Mano Menezes.

A grande questão aqui é a velha adaptação cultural, já que há um abismo entre a maneira como vemos e trabalhamos o futebol no Brasil, comparado com a Europa, e nesse caso quem corre mais riscos é Guardiola, e não a CBF.

Porém, a despeito do risco de adaptação, há argumentos favoráveis de

sobra que justificam a contratação de Guardiola, e vão além da Seleção

Brasileira em si, representa uma oportunidade para o Futebol Brasileiro

como um todo:

R - Depois de ler e pensar com meus botões, resolvi comentar o porquê acho que isso não é verdade - mesmo concordando que estamos precisando dar um banho de moralidade, planejamento, profissionalidade, transparência, decência e uma completa repaginação na maneira de dirigir o nosso futebol profissional. Mas, não é por aí (com essa vinda do Pep Guardiola) que conseguiríamos isso, e vou falar meu ponto de vista diretamente nos pontos explanados. Vamos comentar nossa maneira de ver e pensar com a experiência de já termos morado no exterior, e viver intensamente o futebol brasileiro e o mundial, além de ter trabalhado com o futebol no Brasil e fora dele.

 

P - Futebol melhor. Estamos em pleno “apagão tático”, não surge nada de

novo por aqui há anos. Com Guardiola aumentam as chances (não é

nenhuma garantia de sucesso) de resgatar uma forma  de jogar que

combine eficiência e qualidade;

R- Como alguém que não é brasileiro e, de acordo com que ele mesmo afirmou, tendo “copiado o jeito brasileiro de jogar” venha a resgatar nossa maneira de jogar? Nunca um estrangeiro resgataria o nosso futebol, nós brasileiros é que temos que resgatá-lo.

P - Abalar estruturas. Há anos estamos acomodados com a forma como o

futebol vem sendo praticado (dentro e fora de campo) por aqui, com

nítida redução de qualidade e interesse por parte dos torcedores. A vinda

de Guardiola contribui para dar um choque na inércia. Certamente não é

a solução, mas um bom começo.

R - Quanto a abalar estruturas, realmente precisamos disso, em caráter urgentíssimo,  mas não depende só disso mas de tudo o que eu já disse acima... E o Fernando mesmo, no final fala que, “Certamente não é solução, mas um bom começo”, Pergunto, bom começo de que. O que precisamos é de ter uma ação firme dentro e fora do País no futebol brasileiro que é dirigido amadoramente. E estruturar o futebol profissional com um planejamento a curto, médio e, principalmente, a longo prazo.

P - Visibilidade e interesse. Guardiola é tido como o maior técnico do

Mundo e todos acompanham seus movimentos. Sua vinda aumentará a

atenção não apenas para a Seleção, mas para o Futebol praticado no

R - Visibilidade e interesse, sinto muito mas discordo de A a Z, ninguém chama mais atenção do que o futebol brasileiro, sua plasticidade e sua maneira. Gostaria muitíssimo de poder vender a Seleção Brasileira, pois estaria milionário em pouco tempo. O que falta é visão dos homens que fazem a CBF, que olham apenas pros seus próprios umbigos, e dos próprios dirigentes de nossos clubes que não são profissionais, mas estagiários e amadores. Hoje o Chelsea está mandando no futebol Chines, porque foi lá, somente, o Real Madrid e o Barcelona também estão indo buscar petrodólares, mas nós ficamos aqui, "Dormindo em berço esplêndido".

P - Inserção internacional. Somos como uma ilha, estamos longe do resto

do Mundo tanto em aprimoramento do futebol (em campo e fora dele),

quanto em conhecimento do que acontece nos principais mercados. Esse

distanciamento contribui para sermos vistos como um mercado de

qualidade inferior, gerando pouco interesse dos torcedores estrangeiros e

reduzindo as oportunidades comerciais para nossos clubes;

R - Estamos sim, isolados, pelo motivo acima explanado, precisamos ter pessoas profissionais no comando do futebol brasileiro, e porque não dizer, na CBF. Interesse de fora, existe sim, o que falta é o entendimento disso aqui dentro. E vistos como “de qualidade inferior”, pelo amor de Deus, o que falta é justamente uma ação de divulgação do nosso futebol no mundo e isso é uma deficiência da TV que tem os direitos comprados e parece que ganha bastante com outras coisas, engavetando o maior negócio de todos os tempos, que é vender o futebol brasileiro.

P - Abrir mercado para os técnicos estrangeiros no Brasil. Os clubes

Brasileiros pagam salários cada vez mais próximos aos Europeus, mas

poucos técnicos estrangeiros atuam por aqui, mantendo nosso isolamento

e perpetuando o “apagão tático”;

R - Se acontecesse isso, esta vinda de técnicos para nos ensinar.. .Deixaríamos de ser o País numero 1 do futebol mundial, porque ninguém tem mais títulos que nós, em todas as divisões, e em todas as categorias, portanto, não existe “apagão técnico” o que existe é a falta de conhecimento dos homens que fazem e regem nosso futebol. Então somos os que mais títulos tem, como iremos aprender, só se for com algum E.T.

P - Abrir mercado para os técnicos Brasileiros no Exterior.  Com maior

visibilidade e interesse internacional, aumentam as chances de termos

mais técnicos Brasileiros dirigindo clubes Europeus, e não asiáticos e do

Oriente Médio; 

R - De maneira nenhuma, temos técnicos brasileiros em todos os lugares do mundo, acho que vocês é que estão mal informados, e este problema se dá por falta de entendimento dos próprios técnicos que não querem usar “procuradores” Agentes Credenciados para garimpar e falar sobre eles, pois não querem pagar a comissão pelo serviço e acham que podem comer e assobiar ao mesmo tempo.

P - Aumentaria o interesse de jogadores estrangeiros por atuar no

Brasil. Pagamos salários altíssimos no Brasil, cada vez mais próximos dos

mercados internacionais, mas jogadores estrangeiros no auge de suas

carreiras ainda não vêem o Brasil como um mercado potencial de

atuação. Estamos começando a ser observados apenas pelos veteranos,

quando já não tem mais o mesmo mercado na Europa, ou quando tem

algum laço de identificação com o Brasil, como os casos de Seedorf e

Forlán;

R - Para que aumentar o interesse de jogadores estrangeiros para atuar no Brasil, para mudar nosso estilo, nossa maneira de jogar, discordo literalmente disto. Têm-se o maior potencial no mundo de formar jogadores diferenciados, para que trazer jogadores que não sabem jogar como os brasileiros, e tirar a chance do pessoal de base, isto seria jogar contra o próprio patrimônio  A própria Inglaterra está lutando para acabar com esta idiossincrasia, pois já viu que errou quando abriu o mercado para jogadores estrangeiros e olhem que eles criaram o futebol e se perderam na viagem de torna-lo melhor, como nós fizemos, dentro do campo o contrário, o tornamos mais belo e interessante em assistir.

P - Qualificação. O mesmo aumento da oferta leva a uma maior

concorrência entre os profissionais, aumentando a qualidade do produto

final. Também significa introduzir mudanças de enfoque na forma como o

futebol brasileiro vem sendo jogado;

R - Concordo que o aumento de oferta leva a uma maior concorrência entre os profissionais, mas como falei anteriormente, não temos profissionais dirigindo os clubes ou mesmo trabalhando nos clubes (com raríssimas exceções). Precisamos é elevar o nível de conhecimento técnico e visão na parte de marketing, “enfoque e fazer mudanças na forma como o futebol brasileiro vem sendo jogado”, nunca, pois perderíamos nossa identidade, deixaríamos de ser o futebol jogado com samba, com música, para sermos mais um a da toques na bola, correr e fazer cruzamentos, ou seja, tornar o futebol brasileiro medíocre, igual a maioria dos Países no mundo. Logicamente, salva raríssimas exceções que vem de um Pep Guardiola que ajustou o futebol espanhol com jogadores diferenciados ao futebol jogado no brasil.

P - Redução de custos. Com o crescente aumento de salários de técnicos e

jogadores praticados por nossos clubes, a redução da barreira cultural

(que só vem com maior integração) gera maior oferta de jogadores e

técnicos, com possibilidade de redução de custos para os clubes;

o Copa 2014. Temos talento e eficiência, com Guardiola aumentariam as

chances de o Brasil ser campeão do Mundo.

R - Nunca teríamos os custos reduzidos, agindo desta forma, pois se formos olhar profundamente o que houve aqui, foi justamente por não querermos deixar nossos futuros jogadores diferenciados saírem do País, é que se aumentaram os salários, tentando nos equiparar ao futebol europeu (quase todo falido), e este negócio de reduzir barreiras culturais, quem criou isto foi justamente os países europeus, que agem com discriminação e querem barrar os nossos especialistas deste esporte, pois, já identificaram que se abrirem as portas, estarão cheios de "brazucas" jogando, até em suas seleções nacionais.

Quanto a maior oferta de jogadores, basta olharmos com atenção de profissional para as divisões de base e criaremos mais jogadores diferenciados e reduziremos os custos e como você mesmo escreveu, “temos talento e eficiência”, portanto, o que precisamos é olharmos profissionalmente para nosso próprio futebol e nosso próprio quintal, ao invés de tentarmos corrigir isto, olhando para o quintal do vizinho que não amarra nem o nosso cadarço em termos de títulos e conquistas.

Este imediatismo é contra producente e irreal, meu caro. E logicamente que temos técnicos tão bons quanto o Pep Guardiola, o que precisamos é justamente disto, deixarmos de pensar que o vizinho sempre tem a galinha mais gorda. Temos sim, técnicos que podem nos levar a sermos 6 vezes campeão do mundo, e fico me perguntando, já imaginaram se fosse o contrário, pois continuo olhando pelo retrovisor todas as outras seleções.

Situação completamente oposta quando se trouxe técnicos de outras modalidades de esportes (volibol, basquetebol, ginástica, ping pong, e outros), para nos mostrarem o caminho e até nos ensinarem a jogar, o futebol é o oposto, podemos ensinar a qualquer um, não temos nada a aprender com pessoas de fora, neste campo (dentro das quatro linhas). Parem com isso meus caros, o Brasil não tem que aprender com ninguém a jogar bola, tem que aprender é na escola a administrar, gerenciar, fazer a lição de casa, ser transparente, deixar de ser corrupta comercialmente, uma coisa é uma coisa, e outra coisa é outra coisa.
