Após
a morte do torcedor Paulo Gomes Ricardo, atingido por um vaso sanitário na
noite da última sexta-feira, o estádio do Arruda, do Santa Cruz, foi
interdidato por tempo indeterminado pela CBF. A decisão foi comunicada pela
entidade em comunicado assinado pelo diretor de competições Virgílio Elísio e
pelo diretor jurídico Carlos Eugênio Lopes.
"Devido
à gravidade do incidente ocorrido durante a partida de ontem entre Santa Cruz e
Paraná, em Recife, válida pelo Campeonato Brasileiro da Série B, a CBF, através
das suas diretorias Jurídica e de Competições, suspende, preventivamente, a
partir desta data, o Estádio do Arruda, até que o STJD analise o caso e tome as
providências cabíveis", escreveu a CBF.
"Considerando
o grave incidente ocorrido na noite de ontem no Estádio do Arruda e arredores,
em Recife, após o encerramento da partida Santa Cruz x Paraná, válida pelo
Campeonato Brasileiro da Série B, do qual resultou uma vítima fatal, a CBF,
através das suas Diretoria de Competição e Diretoria Jurídica, vem pelo
presente ato administrativo, interditar o Estádio do Arruda até que o processo
relativo ao incidente seja apreciado pelo STJD.O presente ato também tem o
efeito de representação da CBF junto ao STJD, para as medidas que se tornarem
necessárias no âmbito do tribunal", completaram Elísio e Lopes.
Agora,
o STJD (Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva) irá decidir se vai manter o
estádio fechado ou se vai liberá-lo novamente. Neste meio tempo, o Santa Cruz,
que manda suas partidas da Série B no local, deverá procurar outro campo para
jogar.

Segundo
informações da rádio Transamérica, após o fim do empate por 1 a 1 entre Santa
Cruz e Paraná, torcedores do Sport e da equipe tricolor do Recife começaram a
brigar - uma torcida organizada do clube rubro-negro tem aliança com a torcida
da equipe curitibana, e por isso foi ao Arruda.

Gomes Ricardo da Silva morreu após ser atingido por um vaso sanitário,
arremessado da parte superior do estádio. O corpo do rapaz foi envolto por um
lençol perto dos portões 6 e 7, no local conhecido como Rua das Moças.
Infelizmente
estamos sempre falando nisto, mas, parece que as autoridades competentes que
deveriam cuidar disto não entendem a gravidade da situação. Não se conseguirá
acabar com esta selvageria, banindo as camisas ou as bandeiras, tem sim, que
tirar os bandidos travestidos de torcedores, e puni-los exemplarmente,
colocando-os fora dos estádios, fora do futebol (aliás, eles não têm nada a ver
com ele, estão ali para promover arruaças e badernas, somente), então assim se
acabará com estas atrocidades e o público poderá voltar a frequentar os
estádios novamente.
