Apesar da sugestão do presidente da FIFA, os organizadores da Copa no Catar negam a necessidade de realizar partidas do Mundial em outros países.
O presidente da Confederação Asiática de Futebol (AFC, na sigla em inglês), Mohammed bin Hammam, descartou neste sábado a possibilidade de o Catar dividir alguns jogos da Copa do Mundo de 2022 com países vizinhos.
A ideia havia sido sugerida pelo presidente da FIFA, Joseph Blatter, e apoiada pelo presidente da UEFA, Michel Platini. Os dois dirigentes entendem que a distribuição das partidas contribuiria para o desenvolvimento do futebol no Golfo Pérsico e também ajudaria o turismo.
Por ter apenas 11.437 quilômetros quadrados, o Catar abrigará dez dos 12 estádios previstos para o Mundial num raio de 30 quilômetros, o que dificultaria os lucros com o deslocamento de torcedores estrangeiros.
O presidente da AFC, no entanto, já rechaçou essa possibilidade. "O Catar candidatou-se sozinho para organizar a Copa, então é justo somente que ele organize as partidas", disse Hammam, que é catariano.
O dirigente afirmou ainda que não é necessário que o país divida algumas partidas com os países vizinhos (Arábia Saudita, Emirados Árabes Unidos, Omã e Bahrein, entre outros), para que o Golfo Pérsico se desenvolva.
"Uma infra-estrutura precisa ser construída. Várias pessoas virão para levantar essa infra-estrutura. Vejo um grande impacto econômico e até mesmo no futebol por si só, que será muito promovido", completou Hammam.
A AFC não se posicionou sobre a sugestão de vários dirigentes importantes do futebol mundial, entre eles Blatter e Platini, de que a Copa seja transferida de junho/julho, meses em que é normalmente disputada, para janeiro, a fim de evitar as altas temperaturas no Catar nessa época do ano.
Estou colocando esta informação para tentar fazer uma comparação com a nossa Copa do Mundo de 2014. Muitos estão falando que não estávamos prontos, que somos um País de terceiro mundo, que os investimentos serão desnecessários para o desenvolvimento do País (pelo menos para ajudar este desenvolvimento) e que teremos todas as construções super faturadas, que vão roubar, etc., etc.
Este problema existe no mundo todo, infelizmente, mais cabe a Policia Federal investigar e prender quem estivar se aproveitando desta situação, uma coisa é uma coisa e outra coisa é outra coisa. Este importante evento futebolístico tem tudo a ver conosco, fico muito triste e até chateado em saber que muitos envolvidos no futebol e que se dizem profissionais do futebol, da imprensa, principalmente, pois é disto que vivem, que tem seu soldo para sustentar suas famílias.
Veja o tamanho do Brasil e do Qatar, lá eles querem construir 12 estádios num espaço de 30 quilômetros, já pensaram nisto! Lá sim, terão elefantes brancos, sei que eles tem o Direito Adquirido e também o Direito de Isonomia, já que somente eles brigaram para sediar a Copa do Mundo de 2022, portanto, adquiriram isto e pagaram por isto, sozinhos. Agora falam em espalhar a mesma com seus Países vizinhos.
Isto tem que ser estudado com muita atenção e discutido e quem sabe até ressarcidos as despesas do Qatar para que se possa realmente compartilhar a Copa com seus Países vizinhos. Mas nosso ponto aqui é mostrar o que está acontecendo em relação a esta oportunidade de sediarmos uma Copa.
Antes de tudo, um evento deste porte, é feito para gerar receitas, lucros para muita gente, além de desenvolvimento do próprio futebol e por tabela do País sede (ou Países). O Brasil terá a oportunidade de melhorar muita coisa que hoje é uma questão até de segurança nacional, exato, a nossa segurança que está muito mal, além de outras, como transporte, sistema de telecomunicação, hotelaria, sistema aeroviário, ferroviário, rodoviário, turismo, e muitas outras áreas, diretamente e indiretamente.
E aqui se fala que não tem pra que, um estádio em Manaus, e até porque outro em Brasília, Natal, e assim por diante, que serão elefantes brancos. Certamente que quando não se conhece sobre o que está se falando, se deveria manter a boca fechada, temos sim, necessidade de melhorarmos o País e esta é a grande chance.
Aqui temos um País com a dimensão de um continente, já pensaram em tudo o que nosso País terá que melhorar para termos uma Copa do Mundo diferenciada, que mereça realmente está a altura de nossa tradição, afinal somos ou não, o País do futebol!
Nenhum Pais no mundo merece mais uma Copa do Mundo do que o nosso, por tudo o que somos, por tudo o que representamos, por tudo o que queremos ser ainda, no futebol, ou alguém quer me falar que não quer ser Hexa Campeão Mundial! Que não quer ter a Medalha de Ouro nas Olimpíadas!

Here we have a country with a huge size like a whole continent, already thought of all that our country will have to improve to have a different World Cup, which really deserves is the height of our tradition, after all we are or not, the country's football!
Nobody in the world deserve a World Cup more than ours, for what we are for everything we stand for everything we want to still be in football, or want someone to tell me not want to be HEXA World Champion (six times World Champion)! Who does not want the gold medal in the Olympics!
