As chuvas de verão em janeiro passaram da conta no Grande Recife. O índice pluviométrico esperado pelo Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) para o mês foi alcançado ainda no dia 26. Como consequência, o aumento do risco de deslizamentos nos morros da metrópole, congestionamentos nas maiores avenidas e alagamentos por toda parte.
Essas seguidas pancadas de chuva também acabaram influenciando diretamente no andamento das obras da arena pernambucana para a Copa do Mundo de 2014.
Em São Lourenço da Mata, onde um volume cada vez maior de operários trabalha na empreitada, o número de dias perdidos por causa da situação do solo, encharcado, chegou a oito. A intensa ação da natureza bateu o planejamento do homem, marcando o sexto mês da série “Diário de uma Arena”, com o passo a passo do maior e mais ousado plano do estado para o Mundial.
O processo de terraplenagem nos 52 hectares do futuro complexo - estádio, estacionamento, fun fest e centro de imprensa - ficou mais lento porque o excesso de chuva atrapalhou não só a obra durante o registro da precipitação como também no dia seguinte, com o solo adverso, úmido.
Contexto prejudicial não só na formação do aterro como no próprio deslocamento das máquinas, com vias intransitáveis, segundo a direção de engenharia da obra. Para escoar a água, alguns córregos foram cavados, desaguando no Rio Capibaribe, na margem do terreno.
Obviamente, as chuvas estavam dentro do cronograma da Odebrecht, que lidera o consórcio para a construção e operação da arena. A empresa já considerava o desenvolvimento de ações complementares neste mês, marcado por explosões de rochas e início dos aterros, na fase final antes do início das fundações, com a concretagem na base do futuro estádio para 46 mil torcedores. Porém, o índice atípico já vem sendo contornado.
Para recuperar esse tempo perdido, a execução da extensão de jornada dentro da lei trabalhista, aumentando em três horas o fim de expediente, passando das 17h para as 20h. Quatro torres de refletores temporários foram instaladas no centro do terreno onde será erguido o campo exato.

Em dois meses, o número de funcionários quadruplicou, passando de 83 para 340 pessoas, entre pedreiros, operários e engenheiros. “Com fim dessa fase inicial, vamos para os alicerces do estádio. O importante é sair do chão.
Chegando nessa etapa facilita muito, pois na terraplenagem o solo fica saturado com a chuva, enquanto na fundação é só parar de chover que a obra retoma na hora”, explicou o engenheiro, ressaltando que a partir de agora o efetivo vai aumentar de forma exponencial, rumo ao pico planejado, de 1.000 operários.
Ou seja, a fase centrada apenas nas máquinas (tratores) cede espaço à ampla fase civil, com a mão de obra qualificada para setores de concretagem. Com ou sem chuva.
Finalmente estamos trabalhando e esperamos que se façam maiores avanços para que tenhamos tudo o que se espera, feito no tempo prometido, não gosto de ouvir falar na tábua das desculpas, se eu fosse o encarregado estaria com turnos dia e noite para que Pernambuco não fique de fora deste grande evento e que o presidente LULA fez questão de apoiar, acho que merecemos sediar alguns jogos da Copa do Mundo e também receber tudo o que isto deverá proporcionar a nossa região em desenvolvimento.
Pernambuco está ficando para trás no que diz respeito ao turismo internacional, nossa belíssima praia de Boa Viagem é um grande sanitário, não se usa mais para natação, com receio dos ataques de tubarões, nossa orla no Nordeste é a única que continua como se estivéssemos 40 anos atrás, é uma pena (fizeram apenas uma maquiagem nos quiosques) e pensam que isto é suficiente, não sei a quem querem enganar, provavelmente e eles proprios.
Sei que mais cedo ou mais tarde o próprio clube Náutico Capibaribe verá a necessidade de agregar esta grande arena aos seus jogos, trazendo mais renda e mais lucros aos seus cofres e dando oportunidade a que todos os seus torcedores e sócios possam realmente desfrutar de um local condizente com o século XXI privilegiando com mais conforto e comodidade a todos. Que deixem de lado o “ego” e pensem mais com a razão.
