A crise no futebol envolvendo Ricardo Teixeira não vai levar a lugar nenhum. Não se pode esperar por uma revolução, uma "Primavera Árabe". Nos bastidores desse esporte, paixão de dez entre dez brasileiros, não há menor disposição, diria interesse, em uma mudança radical. Não se fala em um novo modelo de gestão, uma discussão do verdadeiro papel das federações estaduais e, por tabela, da própria Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, a CBF, culminando com os clubes.
O caso, ainda não encerrado mesmo com o fico de Ricardo Teixeira, não abalou as estruturas do poder vigente. O que se tem até agora é uma corrida das raposas pelo poder que nem vago está. Há uma turma de oportunistas querendo beber um defunto que não existe. Não se ouviu uma voz pedindo uma nova ordem no futebol brasileiro. As súplicas são por nacos do comando da CBF.
Ex-jogadores, dirigentes, sindicatos de atletas, treinadores e por aí afora se escondem no manto do silêncio. O poder público também não se manifesta, se é que deveria se manifestar diante da boataria dos últimos dias sobre a queda de Ricardo Teixeira.
E a FIFA, do alto da sua autoridade, vive à espreita para soltar fogos de artifício no caso de o cartola cair fora. Nos bastidores, teria até oferecido ao governo federal, leia-se presidente Dilma Rousseff, a saída de Teixeira do comando da Copa de 2014. Em nenhum momento, como em outras oportunidades, levantou o dedo para falar que não admite intervenção do governo de um país em suas confederações afiliadas. A FIFA faz parte do jogo.
A crise, neste momento, tem deixado claro a cumplicidade entre os dirigentes do futebol e alguns políticos pela sustentação do status quo. Por enquanto, e parece que por muito tempo ainda, não há a menor perspectiva de que o futebol brasileiro vá sofrer uma grande mudança. A Copa do Mundo de 2014 está aí. Há muito interesse em campo. Ninguém quer perder sua parte. Com ou sem Teixeira.
Concordo em gênero numero e grau infelizmente está se presenciando uma corrida para ver quem sai ganhando mais, particularmente, e não me venham falar que quem está aí e quem esta chegando está interessado no mais importante, que é o futebol brasileiro e uma gestão profissional. Não temos nada de interessante para o que é mais importante, que é o futebol, está se trocando 6 por meia dúzia apenas.
