Afastado
da presidência do Figueirense após pedir licença por motivos pessoais no dia 3
de setembro, Nestor Lodetti anunciou, na noite da última terça-feira, sua
renúncia definitiva do cargo. Com o clube brigando para escapar da zona do
rebaixamento do Campeonato Brasileiro, o cartola cedeu à pressão e deixa o
comando nas mãos do vice Odorico Durieux.
Na presidência, Lodetti comandou a campanha do acesso do Figueirense à Série A em 2010 e o bom Brasileirão disputado na última temporada, quando a equipe, então comandada por Jorginho, chegou a sonhar com a Copa Libertadores da América. Em 2012, o mandatário demitiu o técnico Branco após perder a final do Campeonato Catarinense para o Avaí, mesmo tendo conquistado todos os turnos do torneio.

Em uma
reunião na noite desta terça-feira (18), o Comitê de Transição do Clube tomou
conhecimento do pedido de afastamento em definitivo, encaminhado pelo
presidente licenciado Nestor Lodetti ao Conselho Deliberativo.
O Comitê de Transição acatou o pedido e a partir de hoje Nestor Lodetti deixa de exercer todas as funções junto ao conselho administrativo dentro do Figueirense Futebol Clube.
