FIFA não aceitará alteração em projeto e vai pedir novo estádio.

O presidente do Comitê Organizador da Copa do Mundo de 2014, Ricardo Teixeira, vai anunciar até quarta-feira que o Morumbi não cumpriu os requisitos necessários para cumprir com as obras prometidas no quinto projeto enviado para a FIFA. Assim, como o Comitê Organizador não aceitará um sexto projeto com custo bem menor, o Morumbi será definitivamente vetado e o comitê paulista terá de optar entre apresentar um novo estádio com todas as garantias de viabilidade financeira ou ficar fora do Mundial.

De acordo com informações extra-oficiais, o São Paulo enviou ao Comitê Organizador da Copa outro projeto, com custo de R$ 150 milhões, para sediar jogos menores. Em razão de o Comitê entender que a etapa de discussão dos projetos já foi encerrada, ele nem será considerado.

Assim, Ricardo Teixeira deve falar oficialmente sobre o assunto na terça ou na quarta. A data ainda não está definida, em razão do jogo da Seleção acontecer na terça.

O procedimento a ser tomado é simples. O Comitê Organizador comunicará ao comitê paulista, em documento, que o estádio do Morumbi não apresentou viabilidade financeira para o projeto técnico aprovado pela FIFA, que previa obras no valor de R$ 630 milhões. Assim, os paulistas teriam que indicar imediatamente um novo estádio ou arcar com as ações.

Há tempos que estamos batendo na mesma tecla. A maioria dos dirigentes dos clubes brasileiros não tem compromisso nem responsabilidade, pensam que tudo é a mesma coisa e que podem tudo, e veja o resultado, a primeira grande vergonha que a maior cidade do País vai passar.

Mostra realmente o descaso dos clubes com o futebol profissional brasileiro e isto será mostrado para todo o mundo. Talvez seja o pontapé inicial para termos uma tomada de posição quanto à moralização do esporte.

Esperamos que o presidente LULA, tome providências para mostrar que não interessa o tamanho ou o poder que o sudeste pensa ter neste País, e que o governo do estado de São Paulo precisa ter comprometimento com o que propôs; isto não pode nem deve ficar entregue a apenas a um simples clube de futebol. Se não existe hombridade para garantir o que propôs, que tal entregar esta abertura a outro estado imediatamente.

O mundo espera esta Copa do Mundo de 2014 e o Brasil também.
