E AGORA A DESMORALIZAÇÃO DO FUTEBOL BRASILEIRO VESTE VERDE / AND NOW THE DEMORALIZATION OF BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL VEST GREEN

I was remembering an episode recently happened in the German first division league, or Bundesliga. Where Miroslav Klose, after making a goal with his hand and see validated done, was at the referee and said that he had made by hand, and behold the masters the ball was already in the center of the pitch for the game to be restarted, the referee immediately sent the ball to be re-shot goal and nobody said anything because it was just an action full of someone who is a decent citizen.

Look at the tremendous contrast in attitude and behavior, but here, in addition to having a Argentino trying to demoralize our football, we have our own directors who only think of taking advantage, act this way, putting a whitewash in this football demoralized and without transparency.

Palmeiras is in the relegation zone from a long time and does not get out of their means and by fault of its directors and Messrs. amazingly, there is half a dozen gentlemen who call themselves tall, football experts who try to finish burying the Brazilian football. Arrange any excuse and paste pasted, ethics be damned, what is right and what common sense is.

For example, have you ever seen a public institution with a clause of confidentiality, it does not exist. When it is a private institution, with an owner until he understands and accepts, but an institution that is just as president for some time, we can only deduce that there is something rotten in all this, unfortunately this is the truth.

Fighting for "principles" this is the club's claim, the claim is that FIFA does not allow interference from others? What are trying is the enhancement of tort is this principle? And not one that is the factor that created this idiosyncrasy, is the fact that the ball has been directed to the goal with his hand, so there was no goal. This indeed is the fact.

Now we have to wait for the judgment of one thing that is clear and compelling, that was the goal with the player's hand and that should the Argentino is laughing comfortable with this lack of integrity of the men who make Brazilian football. Should he is being punished, if we were a serious country and he had a commitment to truth, this would be the result.

We're seeing things in football and in life in this country, just happen to have a general collapse. Moral values no longer exist, what exists is only the will of half a dozen and nobody does anything.

If anyone thinks that acting this way, will avoid relegation from Palmeiras, only, are sadly mistaken, will rather further debase the entire Brazilian football.

MAIS CARO, O FUTEBOL SUPERA TAXAS DE INFLAÇÃO E PESA NO BOLSO DO TORCEDOR / THE FOOTBALL, MORE EXPENSIVE BEATS INFLATION RATES AND WEIGHS THEY SUPPORTERS POCKET

Hoje, ela é apenas a quarta, quinta, depende do clube.

The fan who wants to follow they team closely, should increasingly the budget, and cut other spending needs. Going to a football stadium in the country becomes a more costly program gradually.

From December 2008 until now, the average ticket increased by 52% (the average ticket price jumped from R $ 15.7 to $ 23.8). Meanwhile, the IPCA (official inflation index) recorded an increase of 21.8% in that period. Otherwise, the fan is forced to spend more on other products and services that involve going to a football field.

It is common, for example, the supporter drinks a beer before or after a game. And in 2012, with the high tax, the beer had a high of about 9.90% (according to a survey of the Folha de S. Paulo based on data from IBGE). Eating on the street also requires a greater expense. The meal progressed away from home at the home of 6.08%. The parking, in turn, increased 7.99%. Even stop the car on the street is more expensive. In informality, the guards abuse their prices to give 'a look' in the vehicle. The products and services mentioned had, from January to September, increases above the IPCA (3.77%).

To Julio Cesar Casares, Vice President of Communications and Marketing of São Paulo, this increase in the cost of 'football program' is a natural factor, and represents a trend for the future.

"I see it as a natural factor, is part of the aggrandizement of the show, which is replaced by a higher cost's, a reality. Sectors are special for families with better financial terms, but without loss of having a popular sector, as is the case of Morumbi, where such space is always 70, 80% occupied. São Paulo FC cares about all categories. But the cost has been more costly yes, it is a trend, "opines Casares.

The investments that Brazil has done in football stadiums, in many cases because of the World Cup of 2014 in the country, reinforcing the trend pointed out by Julio Cesar Casares.

"The greatest comfort in stages leads to charge a little more in per capita consumption”. The stadium, in many cases, is a multipurpose arena, with restaurants, shops and other news services. Becomes not just a football game, but a full day schedule, "says Casares”.

"The supporter is in short blanket: shirt, ticket, sandwich, parking ... when you put in the account, there is a tendency in our football (the stadium) is increasingly facing the classes A, B and, to a lesser extent, class C. The trend for the other classes is more focused on the spectacle on television. These fans are able to go to the stadium in some games, but not to track a large number of rounds, "he adds”.

The fact is that the increase in prices of goods and services contributes decisively to the decrease in the public stadiums. The fans already think twice before watching closely his team's heart.

Obviously, other important aspects come into account, such as violence, schedule of games, transport, etc. Anyway, the average attendance of the Brazilian Championship of 2012 is the lowest in recent years - even with some programs of socio-fan clubs maturing. Just look at the data provided by CBF: 16,992 people in stadiums (Brazilian 2008), 17,807 (2009), 14,839 (2010), 14,976 (2011) and 12,642 (2012).

"(To increase the public in stages) has to be a combination of factors. First is a spectacle more appropriate time. But of course the pay television and we understand them needs to meet its program schedule. Sectors popular has they have the cheaper ticket; do promotions, events that may attract fans. But it is difficult to reverse the curve’s, also important to the competitiveness of the league. Finishers with the unfolding of the others, is that middle zone of almost no interest. This is complicated. When you have a more balanced league, the ticket office is more responsive, "said Julio Casares.

The ticket, however, is nowhere near the main source of revenue for football clubs for some time now. Perhaps this is why the clubs are not concentrating many efforts to attract more fans to the stadium. So why the high price of tickets is very helpful in collecting clubs.

"In the 60s, 70, was a major box office revenue. Today, is only the fourth, fifth, depends on the club budget. Football today is a show geared more for the television audience than a show on the spot," finishes off the leader in the São Paulo club.

There are factors that influence this emptying of the stadiums and certainly the prices currently charged leave much to be desired and, in our view, the clubs are already trying to equate the prices to be charged with new squares, which should bring more comfort, safety and practicality. If you fail to update their prices once, will face several problems, including with the PROCOM, organ federal to regulate the higher prices.

But unfortunately we have other factors that influence this inflation, and firstly highlight the clubs mismanaged, inflated the market, in players contracts, with salaries that do not match with the Brazilian reality, any first division player now wants a floor of 50,000 reais per month + bonuses. Also, mark silliness going to meet players at the end of his career, with outlandish contracts, without being connected to this reality, such as the contract and Vasco's and Juninho Pernambucano, who limited his salary to his appearances in games and he is an athlete who take care his own life outside the field and against departure, the club takes care of the future and budget, a partnership healthy and grounded.

Most clubs forgot to look at their youth bases and some clubs even have training center and when you have not got the right care for these youth department, and also who are treated with irresponsibly. But then they have to run and hard to get to balance the club at the market, and their budgets should stay in red and continue for a long time, they are thinking can fool the fans indefinitely.

The future of Brazilian football, and will suffer greatly from this rising curve of spending without responsibility on the part of presidents with no experience and no understanding of football means. We are seeing a complete breakdown of what is and what cannot is and should be, and this is who should pay are the Brazilian football, I have no doubt.

CONTROLE DE GASTOS OU INVESTIMENTOS, PARA MODERAR AS GESTÕES NOS CLUBES / CONTROL OF THE COSTS OR INVESTMENTS TO MODERATE THE MANAGEMENT IN CLUBS

1) Introduzir mais disciplina e racionalidade nas finanças dos clubes;
2) Diminuir a pressão sobre salários e verbas de transferências e limitar a inflação;
3) Encorajar os clubes a competir apenas com valores das suas receitas;
4) Encorajar investimentos a longo prazo no futebol juvenil e em infraestruturas;
5) Proteger a viabilidade a longo prazo do futebol europeu;
No Brasil, o primeiro passo deste tipo surgiu no Campeonato Paulista.

In football, some clubs have unlimited buying power. Or, at least, was what they showed since a new approach in managing teams appears.

The spending spree sponsored by Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, turbocharged by billionaires with no prospect of return within a reasonable time, the yellow light is on,  competitiveness in the UEFA imposed by the sizable sum of money in the sport of Old World.

From this was developed the Financial Fair Play. Created in 2009, the project should be implemented with a official from the season 2013/2014 (see here).
1) To introduce more discipline and rationality in club finances;
2) Decrease the pressure on wages and transfers of funds and limit inflation;
3) Encourage clubs to compete only with values of their revenues;
4) Encourage long-term investment in youth football and infrastructure;
5) Protect the long-term viability of European football;
6) Ensure that clubs solve their financial problems on time.

The six points are intended to avoid the economic bubble that has been forming in recent seasons with a high expenditure above average.

Finally, the rule is based on the "punishment", which can range from loss of championship points to exclusion, depending on model management.

Below, the debate sponsored by the University of Football, with commentators, representatives of the Ministry of Sports and professional management and marketing.

In Brazil, the first step of this kind appeared in the Campeonato Paulista. The club reach three months of salary arrears will lose points in the tournament.

Do you approve of this idea in Pernambuco football?

It will be the same as passing a certificate of incompetence for the managers, mostly of them are amateurs, has the right to make their own management and decide where they want to go. It seems to me a way to limit the small to continue small and the medium to continue in the sameness, and isolate the bigger to grow higher, because you can only win a championship with the best players and higher budget.

They have to pursuit only the fraudulent managements, and even for those who can not manage (but think they know), you can't punish the goods. It's a very complex case that deserves to be widely discussed, but I think that the CBF should start with this.

When, however, we see the opposite, entities and persons who are not within the context of the text with a small but traditional club and expect to grow by limiting their investments or spending on hiring where it can become competitive, anywhere.

I want to see a discussion about the better distribute of the sponsorship of TVs, for example, giving everyone quantitatively and according to their relevance in your region. Instead of paying the big clubs in south and southeastern that only limits the Brazilian football to these two regions, and we know that Brazil is much more than that.

One of the solutions would be directed to the institution to have a training school and receive federal funds to do so, and then begin structuring, negotiating and using their own players, but this would be well advised.

This is just a start, because we are seeing clubs like Flamengo into debt, even with more money and contracts than all others, to public contracts and hefty. But nobody says anything because it is the Flamengo and now? We have to be discerning and treat everyone with the same measure.

We need to the CBF as the organ and directing should show football as a whole, delimiting powers to be overseeing not only works, by contrast, only disturbs and confuses our football.

UM ENCONTRO COM PELÉ NA MÁQUINA DO TEMPO / AN ENCOUNTER WITH PELÉ IN A TIME MACHINE

Parabéns meu Rei, VIDA LONGA AO REI DO FUTEBOL.

One of the best quotes about Pelé came from the pen of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, one of the skins of Brazilian poetry. "The difficult, extraordinary, is not making a thousand goals like Pelé is to score a goal like Pelé."

With all the poetic license, permit me a brief adaptation. For a journalist, the difficult and extraordinary, is not finding Pelé is found only Pelé

Because Pelé, however that was unique was divided into Edsons who live there, signing, taking pictures, being ambassadors of companies of all branches, closing deals that often almost of all, have little to do with football.

It's easy to a journalist bump into Edson. Just be at the news conference sponsor right, appearing in the recording program such, and go somewhere draw of FIFA. It is not simple, not everyone can, but it is easy, given the difficulty is to find the real Pelé who I never saw him play that many readers of this blog know only by endless videos of impossible goals. The King Pelé turned
Was late, but I had the chance. A chance to share with a dozen of others fellows Brazilians journalists to one encounter with is not much more than that. I was lucky: the first - and so far only - time I met Pelé, he was alone and in the place where he could be more Pelé.

It was a Tuesday in Solna, a city of "great Stockholm", the capital of Sweden. The Olympics had just two days before and it seemed that the share of great athletes was finished, already given, Bolt, Phelps, LeBron, Federer, an hour had to end that sequence.

Yeah, but the sequence was not finished yet. And that Tuesday, just a day before I knew there would be an event at Rasunda Stadium with several players from the World Cup final of 1958. At the final tournaments spot. Final which took Brazilian victory by 5-2, with two goals from Pelé, one with hard hat on a Swedish defender, the one goal that everyone has seen a million times and it's always nice to see one more.

It was here where King Pelé turned, I could see it first. I have the habit - or feature, I do not know how to call it - not to dazzle me with these things. I'm there to work, go there, do my, I try to do my best, with a different look and that makes it worth the fact that it is there and ready. Was not different that day. It was no different until I returned to Brazil, a week later, and began to see the photos of the coverage.

It was just there, alone in front of the camera viewfinder, which had the size of what had happened.

Pelé was smiling, ran across the field, and joked with the Swedes; the goal was there where he signed one of his masterpieces. Edson was not Pelé, despite having covered the Nike symbol on the shirt of choice because Edson has a contract with Puma.

Pelé was in there for those 20, 25 minutes, the same boy who, 55 years ago there were wowing the world at that lawn. The boy of the images in black and white, and are always the same images, Swedish smiling, a game of darts with your back to the target, crying on the shoulders of Gilmar (Brazilian Goalkeeper)...

But at that time, in those minutes that the same grass trodden it, the images were colored by history I got for the rest of life.

In about 30 or 40 years at front I will say to my grandchildren that divide the lawn Rasunda with Pelé, months before the stadium is demolished forever. They curious, they'll ask, sir, do you have played with him? Tabled with him? He played well?

And I'll say, "But of course he played well! He played very well, so the world called him, King, now."

And they will forget the first two questions.

Already in my case, I saw Pelé play countless times here in Brazil and against Náutico in Recife when he was a kid, me and him also, and saw him in my hometown, Garanhuns, (the same city that LULA have born – Brazilian former president), the club's AGA (Association of Atletism of GARANHUNS), where the Santos made their preparing to face the Pernambucano club by the final match of our National Tournament at the time was called Roberto Gomes Pedrosa.

Finally I met him in Los Angeles during the award ceremony for the best football FORD North American Soccer League, in the decade of 80’s where we took a photo and talked about our meetings, but  he did not remember, of course, but I remember all words unlike almost everyone got up to its promise to be the distributor of his film "This is Pele" released there, but never managed to accomplish this, the sharks came and I just got out.

But today I am happy to be able to call him and the king cannot answer my call, Pepito does, his personal manager. For this reason and others I am eternally grateful to football, I know the King of football yesterday, today and forever, the Athlete of the Century, the top scorer of the World Cup, everything more and more is Pelé only he is the owner of the football in the World. Congratulations my King, LONG LIVE TO THE KING OF FOOTBALL.

AS 100 MAIORES MÉDIAS DE PÚBLICO NO MUNDO. UM CLUBE DE RECIFE, SANTA CRUZ / THE 100 LARGEST AVERAGE AUDIENCE IN THE WORLD. SANTA CRUZ FC FROM RECIFE, PERNAMBUCO.

In Arruda, the highest average attendance in South America in 2011. There were 36,916 corals, Santa Cruz fans from Recife City, Pernambuco State.

The first data from the study on the presence in the stands had been released in June this year with the placings of Santa Cruz, Corinthians and Bahia (see here).
Now the research consultancy Pluri complete with 100 clubs who registered the highest average attendance last season.

The champion of Pernambuco, in 39th, is the first of three representatives of the country in the list, which counts only the paying public. More, It is the only planet that went without playing the first two national divisions. Passion cannot be measured.

Besides the absolute amount, there is another important since, with the percentage of occupancy. In the case of Bayern Munich, the staggering number of "100.1%".

I wonder about the memories of football and are not reviewed or even used to explain part of what happens today at this research and they are too important and that should probably change tomorrow. As I recall Germany before hosting the 2006 World Cup, had the same problems we have today in Brazil, low rate of public stadiums, and everything changed after they rebuilt their stadiums and arenas built new, and such which we hope will change also in Brazil, although there that they were professionals and here, it is still in its infancy.

We also see that Brazil needs to change structurally organization since even the simplest CBF at our country, many think that serving in Europe can or should be not applied here, and it is a terrible mistake, if does, is must take into account many nuances, especially as the level of education of the people and then begin designing football based on facts and places in each region, but without using facts do not lead anywhere. It may seem that I am confusing the balls when I say that we should expect to change after the World Cup then I will exemplify.

As one might expect that the Sport Recife, can lead to their stadium a crowd of 80,000 fans per game there is no one knows exactly how many fit today at this stadium of the Ilha do Retiro (because they need to try to cheat the taxman, because we pay a lot taxes to have such an event) and no institution, even though his administration has serious and competent people, cannot survive on the payment of fees, taxes at cascade like these that imposes itself here, then the federal government must begin to revise their concepts and their form to administer the country. Now the club are considering building an new arena for this club, but are already planning underneath this public, only to 45,000 when it should be for at least 65,000 fans, because this is a major undertaking, and looking and future club for 30 + years, and more so we're going backwards like crabs.

I've had the pleasure of watching games in the arena of Borussia Dortmund and Recife should not get anything behind, just the question "marketer" that yes, we are 100 years ago, there in Germany they sell the package for the full year and for companies, so tickets are sold directly in packages and not literally mean that the public is the one advertised.

But back to more important, we will have new arenas with modern and comfortable transport line, being built, finally, with a structure of first world, then we need to change the management structure of football and then we will certainly head in these studies I have no doubt, Brazil is not that what this reflects at this research, and if it is just by the item of our amateur administrations. We must change.
