Pelo menos quatro fundadores da Associação Movimento Resgate Santista, presidida por Luiz Álvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, presidente do Santos, exercem hoje no clube funções remuneradas.
A prática não é ilegal, mas dá margem para ser contestada a profissionalização que o atual presidente pregou na campanha, já que esses nomes não foram escolhidos no mercado, saíram das fileiras de seu grupo político.
O blog obteve em cartório o registro do estatuto social da Associação Resgate Santista, feito no dia 8 de agosto de 2002. No documento aparecem os nomes de Fernando Marcos Silva, Fábio Zinger González, Luiz Fernando Moraes e Luiz Fernando Paiva Vella, que recebem por seus serviços no Santos.
Fernando Silva, apresentado no estatuto da Regaste como engenheiro, presta ao clube consultoria de futebol profissional. O grupo de Luíz Álvaro alega que, apesar de sua profissão não ser ligada ao esporte, ele tem amplo conhecimento de futebol, pois trabalhou em uma empresa que fabrica e vende ingressos. E assim passou a ter trânsito entre dirigentes dos principais clubes do país. Outra alegação é a de que os bons resultados obtidos pelo time comprovam sua competência.
O advogado Fábio González é um dos gerentes jurídicos do Santos. Para a diretoria, sua indicação para o cargo remunerado se justifica por ser um pesquisador em sua área e por ter acompanhado as questões jurídicas do Santos mesmo durante a administração anterior.
O engenheiro civil Luiz Fernando Vella, além de fundador, aparece no documento registrado em cartório como vice-presidente da Regaste. No Santos, ele é remunerado como gerente de patrimônio. A explicação para a sua indicação é o fato de já ter ocupado esse posto no clube.
Outro engenheiro e fundador do Regaste que se tornou gerente é Luiz Fernando Moraes, que atua no futebol amador.
Além desses quatro fundadores, pelo menos mais três gerentes remunerados do Santos participaram em algum momento do Movimento Resgate Santista.

Luiz Álvaro tem ainda como diretores cinco fundadores da Resgate, além de um assessor especial que também participou da criação do movimento. São cargos políticos e sem remuneração.
No berço do movimento que ajudou o atual presidente a chegar ao poder também estão três membros do Grupo Guia, formado por empresários que ajudam o cartola a administrar o clube. Não são remunerados.
Assim, dos 23 nomes que aparecem no documento que registra a fundação da Resgate Santista, pelo menos 14 têm participação ativa na vida do Santos, contando o presidente do clube.
Por meio de sua assessoria de imprensa, Luiz Álvaro afirmou que não falaria ao blog sobre o assunto, mas confirmou a escolha de fundadores do movimento para desenvolver atividades remuneradas no Santos. Seu grupo vê como natural eleger homens de confiança e santistas para compor sua frente de trabalho.
De fato é uma prática tradicional administrar clubes com aliados políticos e cabos-eleitorais. Entretanto, o cargo de gerente remunerado existe justamente para sustentar a gestão profissional que Luiz Álvaro prometeu instalar no Santos. E quanto menos aliados políticos nestes postos, mais profissional será a administração. Pelo menos teoricamente.
Pois é, estamos vendo que mais outra pessoa se incomoda com o que está acontecendo no futebol profissional brasileiro, nos clubes, nas Federações, na CBF e na própria FIFA. O Perrone é jornalista formado na PUC em 1991, seu link é este, dêem uma olhada (infelizmente é somente em Portugues).
