Rio de Janeiro - Um estudo feito por uma empresa de consultoria
brasileira apontou que Pelé foi o jogador que maior valor de
mercado tinha aos 20 anos de idade, superando Messi, Neymar e Maradona.
Divulgados nesta terça-feira, os dados da Pluri, firma
especializada em informações do mercado do futebol mostra que aos 20 anos,
Pelé, campeão mundial na Suécia em 1958 e ainda jogador Santos, teria valor de
mercado de 93 milhões de euros (R$ 236 milhões).
Messi é o segundo na lista, com valor de mercado aos 20 anos
estimado em 68 milhões de euros (R$ 173 milhões). O argentino atingiu a idade
em 2007, já atuando como titular do Barcelona, tendo conquistado dois títulos espanhóis
(2005 e 2006) e uma Liga dos Campeões (2006).
Em terceiro lugar nessa disputa entre ídolos do futebol brasileiro
e argentino estaria Neymar, com valor estimado de 55 milhões de euros (R$ 140
milhões) aos 20 anos. O craque santista atingiu a idade em março do ano
passado.
Aos 20 anos, ainda jogador do Argentinos Juniors, Diego Armando
Maradona valeria 40 milhões de euros (R$ 101 milhões). Na época, o craque já
havia conquistado um mundial sub-20 com a seleção argentina.
A empresa calcula os valores de mercado dos jogadores a partir de
um software próprio, que leva em conta 61 critérios específicos, como idade,
criatividade, regularidade, força física, capacidade de definir as partidas,
aspectos táticos, disciplina, nível dos campeonatos que disputa, títulos
conquistados, convocações para a seleção de seu país, entre outros.
Diante da impossibilidade de comparar os atletas por seus
diferentes tempos de carreira, a empresa buscou avaliar os primeiros anos dos
quatro craques, usando como limite a idade já completada pelo mais jovem,
Neymar.
'É importante lembrar que a intenção foi identificar o jogador
mais valioso e não o melhor. A avaliação do valor de mercado de um jogador é
diferente de ver a sua qualidade técnica e habilidade', aponta a empresa.
A PLURI esclareceu que a avaliação do valor de Pelé e Maradona foi
levado para as respectivas épocas em que atuavam, sem levar em conta se o
futebol era mais difícil ou não.
Pelé sempre estará na frente destes e de qualquer outro jogador
diferenciado que possa aparecer, ele é o melhor de todos, ontem, hoje e
eternamente.
