FIFA announced a fresh set of tests for goal-line technology on Tuesday with the prospect of a system possibly being introduced in time for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

World football's governing body has invited manufacturers to take part in a two-stage technical testing process between September 2011 and March 2012, which will be verified by an independent technical institute.

About 10 different goal-line technology systems have been tested to date, but FIFA and football’s rule-makers, the International Football Association Board (IFAB), have so far been unconvinced.

“The final results of this evaluation will be presented to the IFAB at a special meeting in July 2012,” FIFA said in a statement. “The tests will be conducted in two phases at a football stadium selected by the respective technology providers, in consultation with FIFA.”

The first phase of tests between September and December 2011 will check the success of the required goal scoring indicator to a bracelet worn by the referee. Shortlisted systems, which will have to be at least 90% successful, will then progress to the second phase, where FIFA will be looking for 100% accuracy in tests involving different types of shots under simulated match conditions.

Well, now close to the election (June, 1) the president is moving with all sorts of ideas before relegated, now in focus, promises millions Federations, commission to boost football, new technologies, even Interpol is going to take some (and not only few $ $ $ $ lots millions).

But the revelations of bribery, kickbacks, selling voting remain, and now the FA comes again with another, directly attacking the Joao Havelange and his son in Law-Ricardo Teixeira and worse, until Platini lends itself to give its Joseph Blatter to vote to ensure his election in 2015.
