Presidente da FIFA, Sepp Blatter, sugeriu hoje que o ex-chefe João Havelange deve ser destituído de seu título honorário após a liberação dos documentos ISL implicando o brasileiro.

Comentários de Blatter marcaram uma reversão para o presidente do órgão regulador do futebol. Na reunião do congresso da FIFA, na Hungria, em maio, Blatter pediu uma ovação de pé para o presidente de honra, que está doente, de 96 anos de idade.

Mas Blatter tem estado sob crescente pressão desde a semana passada depois que a FIFA lançou relatório de um promotor suíço, confirmando propinas a Havelange e Ricardo Teixeira, aceitas a partir de agência de marketing ISL em 1990.

"Ele tem que ir. Ele não pode permanecer presidente honorário após esses incidentes", disse Blatter ao jornal SonntagsBlick semanal suíço em uma entrevista que foi publicada no domingo.

Blatter era um alto funcionário durante o reinado de Havelange na FIFA. O Blatter 76-year-old, que é suíço, assumiu a partir de Havelange em 1998.

Ele já havia reconhecido que ele sabia sobre os pagamentos, mas insistiu que eles eram legais na Suíça no momento.

"Eu só soube dela (os pagamentos), após o colapso da agência ISL em 2001", disse Blatter. "Foi a FIFA que fez uma queixa-crime no momento e, assim, pegou a bola rolando, no caso ISL".

Até parece uma piada estas declarações do atual presidente, todos eles são assim, ingênuos e bobos até começarem a surgir as verdades que sem sombra de dúvidas é de todos, todos que estão no barco, navegam no mesmo oceano. Sem contar, que acabou de falar que na África e na América do Sul é normal se aceitarem “propinas”, mas ele antes já havia falado que o seu País, a Suiça reconhecia isto na época, como normal, justo e honesto.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter has today suggested former boss Joao Havelange should be stripped of his honorary title following the release of the ISL documents implicating the Brazilian.

Blatter was a senior official during Havelange's reign at FIFA. The 76-year-old Blatter, who is Swiss, took over from Havelange in 1998.

He had previously acknowledged that he knew about payments, but insisted they were legal in Switzerland at the time.

"I only learned of it (the payments), after the collapse of the ISL agency in 2001," Blatter said. "It was FIFA which made a criminal complaint at the time and thereby got the ball rolling in the ISL case."

It seems a joke these statements by the current president; they are all so naive and silly to begin to emerge the truths that undoubtedly belong to everyone, everyone on the boat, sailing in the same ocean. SCANDAL IN TURKEY FOOTBALL MAY LEAVE FREE BRAZILIANS AND OTHER PLAYERS/ESCANDALO NA TURQUIA PODE DEIXAR BRASILEIROS LIVRES E OUTROS JOGADORES

A Gazzetta dello Sport desta terça-feira diz que a Juventus espera a definição do escândalo de corrupção, que pode rebaixar o Fenerbahce à segunda divisão da Turquia, para tentar a contratação do capitão uruguaio a custo zero. É cedo para saber se isso será possível. Já são 31 pessoas presas, entre elas o presidente Aziz Yildirim, do Fenerbahce. Clubes envolvidos como Ankaraguçu, Trabzonspor e Besiktas podem ser rebaixados. O início da temporada foi adiado de 5 de agosto para 9 de setembro e só quando houver a divulgação da tabela se saberá quais serão os participantes.

A situação não é simples. A história não nasceu de uma investigação esportiva, mas do Ministério Público. Se os clubes envolvidos forem rebaixados, os jogadores podem mesmo ficar livres. Na primeira divisão, é possível ter dez estrangeiros. Na segunda, o limite é de três. Só se saberá se os clubes serão ou não rebaixados, quando houver a divulgação da tabela, prevista para o dia 15 de agosto.

Os jogadores do Fenerbahce voltaram das férias no dia 1 de julho, fizeram pré-temporada até o dia 25 e foram liberados, em função da insegurança sobre o novo calendário. Segundo o novo presidente da Federação, que assumiu o cargo três dias antes do escândalo, o adiamento não se deve à investigação, mas ao clima. Ele afirma que não se pode jogar na Turquia antes de 25 de agosto, por causa do calor.

Os relatos dos jogadores que atuam na Turquia é de que não havia suspeita de manipulação e resultados. Na reta de chegada do Campeonato Nacional, o Fenerbahce oferecia prêmios por vitória de 1 milhão de euro ao elenco. Os prêmios eram rigorosamente pagos na quinta-feira seguinte à partida. Em teoria, não se pagaria prêmios aos jogadores por resultados já arranjados, é o que pensam os brasileiros que atuam pelo Fenerbahce.

De qualquer maneira, há oportunidades para os clubes europeus e brasileiros. Jogadores como Alex e André Santos podem ficar livres do contrato com o Fenerbahce se houver o rebaixamento.

Vejam como anda o futebol mundial. Mas tudo isto resulta do exemplo que temos da própria FIFA. Se no topo da pirâmide não existe transparência, as normas são quebradas, o que vale são as amizades e os interesses de cada um, como se pode esperar que o futebol tenha decência.
