A CBF revelou aos clubes participantes da Copa do Brasil o valor em dinheiro que cada um receberá à medida que forem avançando de fase na competição.
O prêmio só pela vitória na decisão será de R$ 2,5 milhões, além da vaga na Libertadores. Apenas a derrota na final valerá R$ 1,5 milhão. O prêmio máximo pode chegar a R$ 4,2 milhões.
Para definir as quantias, a entidade dividiu os 64 participantes em três grupos (veja mais abaixo). No Grupo 1, estão os que fazem parte dos dez primeiros colocados do ranking da entidade. Esses clubes ganharão R$ 250 mil se passarem da primeira fase e mais R$ 250 mil se superarem a segunda.
No Grupo 2, onde estão os outros participantes que disputam a Série A, o valor de cada classificação até a segunda fase será R$ 220 mil. No Grupo 3, composto por 51 clubes, as duas primeiras partes da competição valem R$ 120 mil cada.
A partir das oitavas de final, a gratificação fica igual para todos os "sobreviventes". De início, os classificados receberão R$ 300 mil e o valor vai aumentando gradualmente em R$ 100 mil até a semifinal, garantindo mais um depósito de R$ 500 mil nos cofres dos quatro melhores times da Copa do Brasil.
Somando todos os prêmios, um time do Grupo 1 embolsará R$ 4,2 milhões caso seja campeão. Se o título for para o Grupo 2, a quantia acumulada será R$ 4,1 milhões. E se a zebra pintar e um clube do Grupo 3 levantar a taça, o valor ganho será R$ 3,94 milhões.

Infelizmente ainda temos isto, pagamentos desiguais para uma competição igual e muito importante, e que poderia ajudar muito o engrandecimento do nosso futebol. Compreendo que um clube de primeira linha tem um custo maior e só a presença dele nos mais recônditos cantos de nosso País, por si só, já é um avanço.
Mas, resta a CBF e as pessoas ligadas e responsáveis nisto, pensarem numa forma melhor de distribuírem os recursos, principalmente pensando se todos os clubes participantes estão de acordo com a legislação, se tudo está organizado e com os encargos recolhidos, se os atletas estão com seus contratos firmados em suas carteiras de trabalho, SE ESTÃO RECEBENDO EM DIA, se tem escolinhas formadoras, se tem departamento médico, etc., etc.
