OLIMPÍADAS EM LONDRES E OLIMPIADAS NO RIO DE JANEIRO / OLYMPICS GAMES IN LONDON AND RIO DE JANEIRO.

As Olimpíadas chegaram ao fim e, a tocha agora está em nossas mãos e a expectativa de fazermos um bom evento também.

Mas, quando vemos os jornais percebemos que 'sim, há uma preocupação quanto aos resultados mas que iremos superar isso em 2016'

Mas falando honestamente, não há a menor possibilidade de o Brasil dar um salto em medalhas e alcançar as 45 dos EUA, 38 da China, 29 da Grã Bretanha, ou 24 da Rússia. Não há como chegarmos lá por uma razão, as medalhas de ouro dependem de três coisas e nós temos duas, mas negamos de fazer a terceira.

A primeira, quanto maior a população maior a chance de se ter um talento, o Brasil poderia ser perfeitamente um dos Países com o maior número de talentos no mundo, nós temos também o PIB que é necessário para investir na formação e lapidação dessas pessoas. Se fossemos olhar pelo PIB que é a energia de investimento, nós deveríamos ter sido o 6º do mundo, pela população, o 5º do mundo, mas ficamos na 22ª posição.

Em um país rico como nos EUA cada medalha equivale a 328 bilhões de dólares, na China isso ja cai para 192bi a Rússia vai para 77bi, Coreia 68, e no Brasil cada uma custou 831 bilhões. Ou seja, a proporção de medalha para o PIB, veja bem, os EUA que são riquíssimos gastaram menos que o Brasil. É uma comparação: quantidade de riqueza pelo número de medalhas de ouro.

Se tomarmos a proporção da população, a Chinesa, por exemplo, que é 6x maior que a nossa teria 18 de ouro, os EUA ficariam com 6

e a Grã Bretanha 1, a Coreia do Sul não deveria ter nenhuma pois sua população é bem menor que a nossa.

A questão é o terceiro ponto, a escola. Um país para ter sucesso, precisa ter população, e um PIB forte - isso nós temos, mas, é na escola que peneiramos talentos, e isso não temos. Quando se procura brilhantes em um garimpo, o garimpeiro pega uma peneira e vai tirando o cascalho, no esporte, a peneira é a escola, as pessoas entram nela e através dela pela prática esportiva vão surgindo aqueles que demonstram talento, e é nela também que demonstramos persistência.

E só depois, são esses que demonstram talento e persistência, é que são levados para centros especializados e que com o vigor necessário, treinem por uma medalha de ouro.

Claro, há exceções, aqui ou ali você encontra um maratonista, ou um jogador de futebol, mas cada vez mais os grandes craques são formados nas escolinhas, a nossa vergonha de ter 3 medalhas de ouro, quando países menores adquiriram mais, decorre que a nossa fraqueza vem da falta de dar tempo e estrutura para que crianças se formem dentro das escolas e que possam representar e, competir, com Chineses e Estadunidenses de igual para igual, não só em uma ou duas modalidades, mas em todas elas.

Por isso eu digo, com muita tristeza, esqueçam 2016. Pois em medalha, em 4 anos, não dará tempo para reunir um grupo forte para se alcançar um nível alto no ranking final da olimpíada, será necessário investir em crianças de seus 5 e 6 anos de idade, que levarão no mínimo, 15 anos para se formarem e estarem aptas para competir em alto nível.

Tudo que exige muito talento exige também o reconhecimento, e nós não estamos dando isso a quem precisa e merece.

Eu fiquei sem palavras quando Diego Hipólito pediu desculpas por um erro que cometeu - um erro bobo, que qualquer um cometeria, quem tem que pedir desculpas ao povo brasileiro, Diego, somos nós, os políticos e administradores deste país, que não investimos nas crianças e não acreditamos em seu futuro.

Nós que em 50 anos não investimos o necessário para que o Brasil fosse uma potência esportiva. Eu lamento, mas é uma ilusão desses que estão dizendo que podemos fabricar campeões a partir dos 15 anos de idade, desses que acreditam que podemos criar esses campeões a partir das olimpíadas.

Uma fabrica de campeões se forma cedo, com 8 anos na China e nos EUA uma criança já tem acompanhamento técnico em sua própria escola. Antes dos 15 já está em um centro olímpico, essa sim! É uma fabrica de campeão.

Transformamos nosso País em um crematório de talentos, da mesma forma que queimamos nossos intelectuais num País que sonega educação à seus filhos. Será uma grande vergonha ficarmos com 5 ou 6 de ouro em uma olimpíada dentro de casa.

Se compararmos com os outros, nós fracassamos profundamente, e esse fracasso não vem dos atletas, mas de nós: políticos e administradores por entendermos que não fomos capazes de fazer que as escolas sejam todas boas, da melhor qualidade, porque não é possível só a prefeitura tomar conta das escolas, mas a união, a federalização da escola é necessária para que o Brasil cresça nas olimpíadas e na economia.

É na escola que precisamos fazer que ela tivesse capacidade de peneirar e revelar talentos.

Não tenho dúvida que faremos uma boa olimpíada - como organizadores. Como campeões, não vejo como.

Concordo em 80% desta fala do Senador, homem que deveria ser nosso Ministro dos Esportes, pois entende e fala profundamente sobre nossos problemas e tem a hombridade de reconhecer os erros dos políticos que são os administradores do País.

Hoje também tive a oportunidade de ver a explicação do Aldo Rebelo, que está "ministro", diretamente de Londres, e fico pensando com meus botões, enquanto tivermos indicações politicas para estas posições, continuaremos andando para trás, ao invés de avançarmos para corrigir estes problemas tão lucidamente mostrados e avaliados pelo senador Cristovam Buarque.

Todavia, temos que começar a fazer alguma coisa agora e certamente dinheiro é o que não falta, pode faltar vontade política ou conhecimento dos futuros prefeitos.

I agree 80% of this speech by the Senator, the man who should be our Sports Minister, because he understands and speaks deeply about our problems and has the decency to acknowledge the mistakes of politicians who are managers, administrators of our country.
