"Primeiro que nunca sai do Inter, como torcedor ou qualquer coisa, sempre estive aqui", afirmou o técnico, que ainda comentou o motivo de não ter acertado com nenhuma equipe ou seleção durante os últimos dois anos.

"Tive convites, um de um grande clube da Europa, mas o clube não queria que fosse com um representante que está comigo há dez anos e não seria justo com ele. Respeito muito a amizade, a questão do fio de bigode. Tive algumas seleções, mas não era aquilo que eu queria. Achei que não tinha a condição, e eu nasci no Internacional."

E de pessoas que não deveriam nem poderiam ser “dirigentes de futebol profissional”, ontem (seg, dia 20 de Junho) acompanhamos como sempre um dos programas que falam de nosso futebol diretamente da capital e vejam as perolas.

Tivemos um dos dirigentes do Sport Recife e é uma destas pessoas que tem outra profissão e sei que é muito bem sucedido nela mas que na primeira oportunidade em que foi pressionado para falar sobre profissionalismo no futebol e sobre suas funções no clube, falou que não era profissional, que estava doando seu tempo apenas, que não precisava do futebol e que no frigir dos ovos realmente, não era um “profissional de futebol”.

Então, não entendo o porque de exercer tal função, porque a instituição precisa de profissionais e competentes, que exerça esta função diuturnamente e em tempo integral, que tenha conhecimento e acima de tudo seja este seu objetivo, e que antes de mais nada, possa ser cobrado ou será que estou errado.

Não se edifica uma construção sem um bom alicerce, não é mesmo! E olhe que nunca me meti a construri nada, pois nossa area de entendimento é outra, portanto, deixo este negócio de construir, edificar para quem estudou, se especializou e entende disso.

Portanto prezados, o nosso futebol escuta declarações de dirigentes que não são dirigentes, que estão como dirigentes apenas, e que profere uma frase como esta “o interino não será efetivado mesmo que faça um excelente trabalho, pois não vamos descobrir um Santo para cobrir outro”. No mínimo deveria se contentar em ficar em sua área de conhecimento.

Quem sabe e acompanha o futebol Pernambucano e mais precisamente, o estilo do futebol jogado pelas equipes do Sport Recife ao longo dos últimos 50 anos, sabe muito bem que este esquema de defender para depois atacar não funciona na Ilha do Retiro, entrar retrancado, lá atrás e jogar no erro ou mesmo nos contra ataques.
