PORTO ALEGRE - O Grêmio anunciou nesta segunda-feira que não conta mais com o atacante Jonas. Artilheiro do último Campeonato Brasileiro, o jogador, que tinha contrato até 31 de dezembro de 2011, pediu seu desligamento para se transferir para o Valencia, da Espanha.
O clube gaúcho deve receber 1,25 milhão de euros (cerca de R$ 3 mi) pelo rompimento do vínculo.
Segundo o vice-presidente de Futebol gremista, Antônio Vicente Martins, Jonas comunicou à diretoria na noite deste domingo que havia acertado com o clube espanhol. Ele vinha negociando a extensão do seu compromisso com o Grêmio, mas mudou de ideia quando foi contatado pelo Valência.
Martins explicou o porquê do valor baixo para a liberação de um jogador muito valorizado no último ano. "Jonas passou por um processo de renovação de contrato no início do ano passado, quando acertou um reajuste salarial e um pagamento de luvas com validade até dezembro de 2011. Em troca, houve uma alteração do valor da cláusula rescisória. Um valor baixo para o mercado brasileiro e absurdamente baixo para o mercado internacional,"lamentou.
O dirigente disse que o Grêmio tentou diversas alternativas para manter Jonas em 2011. "Tomamos conhecimento desta cláusula e tentamos criar alternativas que pudessem ser satisfatórias para o jogador. No primeiro momento, ele aceitou nossa oferta mesmo que tivesse outras propostas da Europa. Mas aí chegou essa proposta da Espanha, que o Jonas diz ser um grande desafio na sua carreira".
Jonas deixa o Grêmio num momento de atrito com a torcida. O atacante vinha recebendo críticas justamente pela demora de uma definição de seu futuro. Na última sexta-feira, ele chegou a xingar os torcedores e a chutar uma bola propositadamente nas arquibancadas durante a vitória por 2 a 1 sobre o São José, no Estádio Olímpico, pelo Campeonato Gaúcho, em que marcou os dois gols para seu time.
"É bom deixar bem claro que o Jonas foi correto com o Grêmio durante todas as tratativas. O Grêmio não está perdendo o jogador porque não pode fazer frente às propostas da Europa, mas sim por essa cláusula rescisória que permite a saída do jogador por um valor muito baixo", finalizou Martins.
Que tristeza eu vejo aqui, que lastima ter o maior ARTILHEIRO DO BRASIL no Campeonato da 1ª Divisão ser transferido a preço de centavos. Pena que o próprio irmão do atleta que é Advogado não tenha nenhuma experiência do que poderia ter acontecido com o Jonas.
Quando conversamos algum tempo atrás, ele autorizou-me por alguns dias apenas a negociar o atleta e depois, entregou este gerenciamento a outro agente FIFA que reside em São Paulo e então pensei comigo mesmo, agora o negócio vai acontecer.
Mais infelizmente não aconteceu e o que vemos é uma tremenda falta de conhecimento e de valorização, tanto do lado do jogador quanto do Clube. Nos mostra que estamos longe de termos uma administração de futebol profissional e também de vermos atletas de ponta sendo representado por seus parentes, não dá certo, quem já viu um médico se diagnosticar de um tumor aplicar uma anestesia e ele mesmo fazer a operação, pergunto?
No Brasil as coisas estão caminhando para isso, estamos entregando nossos melhores jogadores e estragando o negócio, dado o alto grau de pessoas envolvidas no futebol que não tem lisura ou que não tem conhecimento e competência e quem tem é mantido fora do futebol. Se os clubes continuarem a agir desta maneira além de perdermos a credibilidade aqui perdemos no exterior onde agora todos pensam que somos idiotas ou estamos morrendo de fome, iremos deixar de ganhar o que deveríamos e poderíamos.
