Depois da manifestação no Rio de Janeiro, que aconteceu no dia do sorteio dos grupos para as Eliminatórias da Copa de 2014, neste sábado, em São Paulo, um protesto contra Teixeira sairá da Avenida Paulista com destino ao Pacaembu.
Na capital paulista, a manifestação também será contra o presidente da Federação Paulista de Futebol, Marco Polo Del Nero, que está no comando da entidade desde 2003 - e com mandato até 2014.
João Hermínio Marques, líder da FNT, expôs as razões. "Vamos pedir a cabeça do Del Nero também porque ele está há muito tempo no poder, há quase dez anos. Além disso, ele trata o futebol paulista com promiscuidade. Ele simplesmente ignora os clubes tradicionais do interior. Outra coisa: como um trabalhador pode ver um jogo de manhã ou às 3 da tarde em dia de semana?", argumentou o pós-graduando em direito esportivo.
Outra crítica do protesto é com relação ao estádio do Corinthians, que está sendo construído na capital para receber a abertura da Copa do Mundo de 2014. "A iminente escolha de São Paulo para abrir a Copa já é discutível. Somado a isso, levantar outro estádio é desnecessário. O Morumbi é um estádio de grande porte, o Pacaembu tem uma relação histórica com a cidade... A grande questão é: por que tantos exageros nos gastos? Países mais desenvolvidos fizeram tudo com muito menos. Toda essa grandiosidade só serve para esconder desvios de dinheiro público", disse.
A manifestação terá início às 14h, no vão do Masp, Museu de Arte de São Paulo. Após percorrer a Avenida Paulista, o destino será a Praça Charles Miller, que fica em frente ao Estádio Pacaembu.
No Rio de Janeiro, a adesão não foi muito expressiva no início, mas depois a manifestação ganhou outros adeptos e chegou a juntar cerca de 500 pessoas protestando. Em São Paulo, as expectativas são maiores. "Dez mil pessoas já confirmaram presença no Facebook. É claro que na Internet é diferente, porém esperamos entre 1500 e 2000 pessoas", finalizou João Marques.
