A Gazzetta dello Sport desta terça-feira diz que a Juventus espera a definição do escândalo de corrupção, que pode rebaixar o Fenerbahce à segunda divisão da Turquia, para tentar a contratação do capitão uruguaio a custo zero. É cedo para saber se isso será possível. Já são 31 pessoas presas, entre elas o presidente Aziz Yildirim, do Fenerbahce. Clubes envolvidos como Ankaraguçu, Trabzonspor e Besiktas podem ser rebaixados. O início da temporada foi adiado de 5 de agosto para 9 de setembro e só quando houver a divulgação da tabela se saberá quais serão os participantes.A situação não é simples. A história não nasceu de uma investigação esportiva, mas do Ministério Público. Se os clubes envolvidos forem rebaixados, os jogadores podem mesmo ficar livres. Na primeira divisão, é possível ter dez estrangeiros. Na segunda, o limite é de três. Só se saberá se os clubes serão ou não rebaixados, quando houver a divulgação da tabela, prevista para o dia 15 de agosto.
