“GRAÇAS A DEUS AS COISAS COMEÇAM A MELHORAR”, DISSE O GOLEIRO BRUNO A ADVOGADO SOBRE EXTINÇÃO DE SUA PENA / “THANK GOD, THINGS START TO GOING BETTER”, SAID GOALKEEPER BRUNO TO THE LAWYER ABOUT THE EXTINCTION OF THE SENTENCE.

O goleiro Bruno de Souza recebeu, na manhã desta quinta-feira, no Presídio Nelson Hungria, em Contagem, Minas Gerais, a notícia da extinção de sua pena no processo de cárcere privado, agressão e constrangimento ilegal contra a modelo Eliza Samúdio.

A informação é do advogado Francisco Simim. Segundo ele, Bruno abriu um sorriso:

- Ele está muito feliz e disse: “Doutor, graças a Deus as coisas começam a melhorar”.

Simim disse ainda que o habeas corpus a favor de Bruno no processo da morte de Eliza deve ser julgado na próxima terça-feira no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), em Brasília. Para ele, a extinção da pena pode favorecer o goleiro.

- Ele não tem outra condenação agora que essa acabou.

A extinção da pena de Bruno foi julgada no Tribunal de Justiça do Rio nesta terça-feira. Os desembargadores da 7ª Câmara Criminal decidiram reduzir a condenação de quatro anos e seis meses para um ano e dois meses. Como Bruno está preso há mais tempo, acusado do assassinato de Eliza, a pena foi considerada extinta.

A decisão beneficiou também Luiz Henrique Ferreira Romão, o Macarrão.

Não quero falar muito sobre isso, porque é deprimente ver as coisas que acontecem em nosso País e que não chegam ao final, só prejudicando a todos os envolvidos. Nunca encontraram o corpo da Eliza Samúdio e pelo que sabemos não existe crime sem corpo, e como é que a justiça prendeu e manteve encarcerado o jogador por todo este tempo. 

De outro lado, como se pode desaparecer assim? A nossa polícia técnica precisa ser melhor aparelhada, pois sem recursos ou qualidade, não chegará a elucidar crime nenhum.

Então ficam as coisas da maneira que vão acontecendo, quem perdeu a vida, acabou, e quem perdeu uma possível grande carreira, terá que recomeçar, e pode apostar, vai ser muito difícil.
