Faltando pouco mais de dois meses para o início da Copa do
Mundo, o palco da abertura ainda preocupa a FIFA. Nesta quarta-feira, o
secretário-geral da entidade, Jérôme Valcke admitiu, em entrevista na África do
Sul, que o Brasil ainda não está pronto para receber o Mundial.
"Se você quer que eu resuma, não estamos prontos. Temos
dois estádios onde precisamos trabalhar", afirmou Valcke, ao ser
requisitado para definir em uma palavra a situação brasileira a exatos 70 dias
de 12 de junho, quando acontece a abertura em São Paulo, com Brasil x Croácia.
A segunda grande preocupação a que se refere Valcke é a situação
de Porto Alegre, que ainda vive impasse em relação às estruturas temporárias
nos arredores do estádio Beira Rio, que já passou por seu primeiro evento-teste
com bola rolando dentro de campo.
"Em Porto Alegre, um acordo foi feito entre as diferentes
partes para garantir que as instalações sejam financiadas, então agora é mais a
implementação dessas decisões", disse. "Em São Paulo é triste porque
um trabalhador morreu há poucos dias, e o resultado é que o trabalho foi
interrompido, onde muitas coisas precisam ser feitas", completou.
Finalmente ele está começando a entender que aqui as coisas são
diferentes e o que na suíça é ponto de honra, aqui não passa de mera frescura.
