O técnico
Geninho entrou em um acordo com a diretoria leonina e não é mais treinador do
Sport. Após a derrota para o Guarany de Sobral, pela quarta rodada da Copa do
Nordeste, o clima acabou pesando para o agora ex-comandante rubro-negro.
Essa foi a terceira passagem de Geninho pelo clube da
Praça da Bandeira (ele já havia treinado o Leão em 2007 e 2010/2011). No ano
passado, ele foi fundamental para o acesso à Série A, quando pegou a equipe na
22ª rodada da Série B, em oitavo na classificação. Em 2014, no entanto, ainda
não havia conseguido nenhuma vitória.
Ao todo, o experiente técnico comandou o
Sport em 55 jogos, com 25 vitórias, 14 empates e 16 derrotas. O que representa
um aproveitamento total de 53,9%.
De
acordo com o vice-presidente de futebol Sérgio Kano, a decisão foi tomada em
comum acordo com o treinador. “Foi
uma conversa boa para ambas as partes. O Geninho é um grande treinador e nós
respeitamos muito ele. Mas o clima ficou pesado com os últimos resultados e
vimos que era a hora de mudar“, afirmou.
Com a saída do agora ex-técnico
rubro-negro Geninho, o Sport vai entrar em campo no Clássico dos Clássicos de
domingo, na Arena Pernambuco, com novos comandantes. A missão de ficar à frente
do time leonino será dada ao preparador físico Eduardo Baptista e o analista de
desempenho Pedro Gama, que ficará como auxiliar.
“Sou funcionário do Sport com muito
orgulho e agradeço a confiança que estão me dando. Estou ciente da
responsabilidade, mas vamos colocar o que há de melhor para jogar“,
disse Eduardo Baptista. O técnico interino adiantou também que deve optar pelos
jogadores mais “rodados” para jogar o clássico. “Vamos dar um tempo aos mais novos e
colocar os mais rodados para jogar. Eles terão que resolver“,
afirmou.
Já
Pedro Gama, comentou sobre a mudança de função, saindo da teoria para a
prática. “Já faz um
tempo que faço essa função de analisar e estudar os adversários. Porém, agora
ficarei um pouco mais próximo do campo e dos jogadores. É um desafio. Mas, como
o próprio Eduardo disse, estamos aqui para vencê-los“, falou.
WA: Segundo um
levantamento feito pelo companheiro de imprensa, Claudemir Gomes, e de Nelsinho
Baptista para cá o clube já trocou de treinador 17 vezes.
Sem palavras,
porque uma atitude desta mostra o grau de amadorismo em que se encontra nosso
futebol. Sei que estarei mais uma vez sendo execrado pelos que “infelizmente”,
fazem o futebol profissional de nosso clube.
Mas, isto não
existe, o futebol profissional tem e deve ser feito por quem vive
profissionalmente dele, não adianta você pensar que é um profissional porque é
um Engenheiro de sucesso, ou um Advogado de renome, ou outro profissional
gabaritado, uma coisa nada tem a ver com a outra. Enquanto tivermos isto, nosso
futebol ficará resumido a esta mediocridade, sem ser nada, sem ter nada, e
pensando que o futebol profissional é isto aí, ledo engano.

football has and should be done professionally by those who live it, no thinking that you are a professional engineer or a renowned lawyer, or any other TOP sucessful professional who be suceed at the professional football job, one thing has nothing to do with other thing. While we still have this, our football will be summarized to this
mediocrity, without anything, with nothing, and thinking that professional
football is that around, certain is a big mistake.
