"A lista vai contar com uma base bem maior, conforme sempre deixamos
claro, com jogadores abaixo de 23 anos. Esse foi o planejamento que fizemos.
Ainda não conseguimos desenvolver de forma isolada um projeto olímpico separada
da seleção principal. Já convocamos jogadores jovens nos últimos nove meses,
mas no início de julho vamos convocar exclusivamente", explicou Mano.
Sobre os convocados que atuam no país, o técnico garantiu que não haverá
problemas com Libertadores e Copa do Brasil, ainda que desfalquem para o início
do Brasileirão: "Não teremos jogos de Libertadores e Copa do Brasil neste
período. Depois nós nos reuniremos. Temos algumas questões de lesões na
lista".
O Brasil inicia o tour contra a Dinamarca, que estará em preparação para a
Eurocopa, no dia 26 deste mês, em Hamburgo. Quatro dias depois, a equipe pentacampeã
mundial enfrenta os Estados Unidos em Washington. Em 3 de junho, em Dallas, o
rival será o México, e a última partida acontece no dia 9, em New Jersey,
contra a arquirrival Argentina.

Não é fácil
convocar jogadores que tem potencial e estejam bem no momento, todos nós
sabemos disso. Agora o que não pode acontecer é se chamar jogadores por causa
de “empresários”, isto sim, é um lesa pátria e a CBF deveria tirar
imediatamente do comando da seleção brasileira quem fizer isto.
Esta
relação é a melhor de todas as já realizadas pelo atual técnico, sei que
existem ainda outros nomes que podem e merecem ser convocados, mas ninguém é
perfeito. E continuar chamando grandes jogadores pelo que representaram dentro
do futebol brasileiro, não adianta, retiro apenas o Kaká, e o Ramires, que já deveria está
fazendo parte desta lista.
Por
exemplo, sou um grande admirador do futebol do Lúcio, de sua garra e de seu desprendimento
pelo futebol, mas não existem mais condições, bem como do goleiro Julio Cesar e
mais alguns, o tempo deles, acabou, pelo menos na seleção brasileira e 2014
temos que ter gente que ainda quer e precisa aparecer, ganhar notoriedade, pois
isso é o que faz a seleção ficar forte. Se alguém pensa o contrário, deve rever
e repaginar seus conceitos, tudo é uma questão de “ego” inflado e de comando,
duro e bem direcionado.
