- Você foi recebido com preconceito em Brasília?
Olha, vou ser claro para quem ler entender como as coisas são. Há o burro, aquele que não entende o que acontece ao redor. E há o ignorante, que não teve tempo de aprender. Não houve preconceito comigo porque não sou nem uma coisa nem outra. Mesmo tendo a rotina de um grande jogador que fui nunca deixei de me informar, estudar. Vim de uma família muito humilde. Nasci na favela. Meu pai, que está no céu, e minha mãe ralaram para me dar além de comida, educação. Consciência das coisas... Não só joguei futebol. Frequentei dois anos de faculdade de Educação Física. E dois de moda. Sim, moda. Sempre gostei de roupa, de me vestir bem. Queria entender como as roupas eram feitas. Mas isso é o de menos. O que importa é que esta sede de conhecimento me deu preparo para ser uma pessoa consciente... Preparada para a vida. E insisto em uma tese em Brasília, com os outros deputados. O Brasil só vai deixar de ser um país tão atrasado quando a educação for valorizada. O professor é uma das classes que menos ganha e é a mais importante. O Brasil cria gerações de pessoas ignorantes porque não valoriza a Educação. E seus professores. Não há interesse de que a população brasileira deixe de ser ignorante. Há quem se beneficie disso. As pessoas que comandam o País precisam passar a enxergar isso. A Saúde é importante? Lógico que é. Mas a Educação de um povo é muito mais.
- Essa ignorância ajuda a corrupção? Por exemplo, que legado deixou o Pan do Rio?
Você não tenha dúvidas que a ignorância é parceira da corrupção. Os gastos previstos para o Pan do Rio eram de, no máximo, R$ 400 milhões. Foram gastos R$ 3,5 bilhões. Vou dar um testemunho que nunca dei. Comprei alguns apartamentos na Vila Panamericana do Rio como investimento. A melhor coisa que fiz foi vender esses apartamentos rapidamente. Sabe por quê? A Vila do Pan foi construída em cima de um pântano. Está afundando. O Velódromo caríssimo está abandonado. Assim como o Complexo Aquático Maria Lenk... É um escândalo! Uma vergonha! Todos fingem não enxergar. Alguém ganhou muito dinheiro com o Panamericano do Rio. A ignorância da população é que deixa essa gente safada sossegada. Sabe que ninguém vai cobrar nada das autoridades. A população não sabe da força que tem. Por isso que defendo os professores. Não temos base cultural nem para entender o que acontece ao nosso lado. E muito menos para perceber a força que temos. Para que gente poderosa vai querer a população consciente? O Pan do Rio custou quatro vezes mais do que este do México. Não deixou legado algum e ninguém abre a boca para reclamar.
- Se o Pan foi assim, a Copa do Mundo no Brasil será uma festa para os corruptos...
Vou te dar um dado assustador. A presidente Dilma havia afirmado quando assumiu que a Copa custaria R$ 42 bilhões. Já está em R$ 72 bilhões. E ninguém sabe onde os gastos vão parar. Ningúem. Com exceção de São Paulo, Rio, Minas, Rio Grande do Sul e olhe lá! Pernambuco... Todas as outras sete arenas não terão o uso constante. E não havia nem a necessidade de serem construídas. Eu vi onze das doze... Estive em onze sedes da Copa e posso afirmar sem medo. Tem muita coisa errada. E de propósito para beneficiar poucas pessoas. Por que o Brasil teve de fazer 12 sedes e não oito como sempre acontecia nos outros países? Basta pensar. Quem se beneficia com tantas arenas construídas que servirão apenas para três jogos da Copa? É revoltante. Não há a mínima coerência na organização da Copa no Brasil.
- São Paulo acaba de ser confirmado como a sede da abertura da Copa. Você concorda?
Como posso concordar? Colocaram lá três tijolinhos em Itaquera e pronto... E a sede da abertura é lá. Quem pode garantir que o estádio ficará pronto a tempo? Não é por ser São Paulo, mas eu não concordaria com essa situação em lugar nenhum do País. Quando as pessoas poderosas querem é assim que funcionam as coisas no Brasil. No Maracanã também vão gastar uma fortuna, mais de um bilhão. E ninguém tem certeza dos gastos. Nem terá. Prometem, falam, garantem mas não há transparência. Minha luta é para que as obras não fiquem atrasadas de propósito. E depois aceleradas com gastos que ninguém controla.
- O que você acha de um estádio de mais de R$ 1 bilhão construído com recursos públicos. E entregue para um clube particular.
Você está falando do estádio do Corinthians, não é? Não vou concordar nunca. Os incentivos públicos para um estádio particular são imorais. Seja de que clube for. De que cidade for. Não há meio de uma população consciente aceitar. Não deveria haver conversa de politico que convencesse a todos a aceitar. Por isso repito que falta compreensão à população do que está acontecendo no Brasil para a Copa.
- A FIFA vai fazer o que quer com o Brasil?
Infelizmente, tudo indica que sim. Vai lucrar de R$ 3 a R$ 4 bilhões e não vai colocar um tostão no Brasil. É revoltante. Deveria dar apenas 10% para ajudar na Educação. Iria fazer um bem absurdo ao Brasil. Mas cadê coragem de cobrar alguma coisa da FIFA. Ela vai colocar o preço mais baixo dos ingressos da Copa a R$ 240,00. Só porque estamos brigando pela manutenção da meia entrada. É uma palhaçada! As classes C, D e E não vão ver a Copa no estádio.
O Mundial é para a elite. Não é para o brasileiro comum assistir.
- Ricardo Teixeira tem condições de comandar o processo do Mundial de 2014?
Não tem de saúde. Eu falei há mais de quatro meses que ele não suportaria a pressão. Ser presidente da CBF e do Comitê Organizador Local é demais para qualquer um. Ainda mais com a idade que ele tem. Não deu outra. Caiu no hospital. E ainda diz que vai levar esse processo até o final. Eu acho um absurdo.
- Muito além da saúde de Ricardo Teixeira. Você acha que pelas várias denúncias, investigações da Polícia Federal... Ele tem condições morais de comandar a organização Copa no Brasil?
Não. O Ricardo Teixeira não tem condições morais de organizar a Copa. Não até provar que é inocente. Que não tem cabimento nenhuma das denúncias. Até lá, não tem condições morais de estar no comando de todo o processo. Muito menos do futebol brasileiro...

Vamos começar sobre os “legados” que a Copa do Mundo deixará no Brasil.
Certamente que um evento como o Pan Americano é muito diferente de uma Copa do Mundo e já começa aí os erros de interpretação do Deputado, hoje pessoa “importante” e de idoneidade ilibada. Mas ele mesmo fala que comprou “alguns” apartamentos na Vila do Pan, porque? Especulação, tentativa de ganhos fáceis? Todos querem levar vantagens no Brasil, é a tal da Lei de Gerson, lembram.
Segundo, precisamos realmente corrigir os salários dos professores e investir em educação, da básica a superior e isto, o ex-presidente LULA começou e a Dilma está dando continuidade, mas, o Brasil é um País continental e não será uma tarefa fácil esta mudança, levará tempo, muito tempo, além é claro precisamos melhorar a saúde, precisamos de segurança, e até outros bens básicos para se poder existir e se ter uma cidadania digna, etc., temos muito a fazer, precisamos acordar como um dos Países emergentes.
Falar que estamos construindo estádios/arenas onde não se deveria? É complicado falar isto, pois como falei anteriormente, o Brasil é um dos maiores do mundo em extensão geográfica e acho que todos têm direito a ter e participar e cabe ao governo, promover esta inclusão, além é claro que se pensa em impulsionar o turismo naqueles recantos, como no Pantanal e Manaus por exemplo.
Romário está esquecendo que graças ao futebol ele saiu da favela, ficou rico, milionário, conheceu o mundo, estudou e isto é um legado deste esporte.
Se Pernambuco não terá condições de encher a Arena está redondamente enganado, mostramos agora mesmo que um clube na 4ª Divisão nacional colocou + de 60 mil pessoas em seus jogos, sem falar no Sport Recife que teve a maior audiência do futebol na 2ª Divisão e recém levou + de 500.000 fãs à rua para receber o time que se classificou para a 1ª divisão Nacional, o que mostra que ele está precisando estudar mais e se informar mais.
Comparar a África do sul ao Brasil no futebol é um tremendo erro, erro de entendimento, erro de julgamento e erro de conceitos. O Brasil é o País do futebol e mesmo antes da Copa do Mundo da África começar (precisamente 30 dias antes, a Copa do Mundo no Brasil já era a mais rentável).
Sobre os desmandos, roubos, superfaturamento, para que existe a Polícia Federal e a Receita Federal, denuncie.
Sobre CBF, FIFA, Ricardo Teixeira, Joseph Blatter, etc., infelizmente existem e precisamos cuidar disto, urgentemente. Do contrário o futebol continuará descendo, sem lisura e qualidade, pois ninguém acredita mais em decência, transparência e honestidade no futebol, daqui e de lá.
