O presidente do Sevilla, José Maria del Nido, qualificou de "ridícula" a oferta do Olympique de Marseille pelo atacante Luis Fabiano e afirmou que "ou pagam o que o clube pede, ou o brasileiro não sairá"
Del Nido manifestou aos periodistas, depois da apresentação oficial do meia atacante italiano Lucas Cigarini, que o clube francês está interessado em Luis Fabiano e a saída dele está próxima, mas garantiu que não atingiram o valor pedido pelo clube.
O presidente também assegurou que, caso o brasileiro realmente deixe o clube, já haveria "uma alternativa quase imediata", e descartou que esse poderia ser o nome de sua próxima contratação, Bryan Ruiz.
Del Nido ainda acrescentou que é um risco perder um jogador como Luis Fabiano, mas disse que o Sevilla se interessa na negociação, já que receberá 100% do valor recebido pela possível venda.
Além disso, Del Nido ainda negou qualquer oferta do Real Madrid e lembrou que o brasileiro "tem um ano a mais de contrato e, se ficar, tentaremos renovar".
