A situação é
essa: Um time acaba de subir da Série C para a B. Começa o ano com apenas
quatro atletas no elenco. No estadual, faz campanha razoável (cambaleante no
primeiro turno e muito boa no segundo). Seu técnico é uma aposta, desconhecido
do mercado e que assume a equipe só em junho. O orçamento, vale lembrar, é
mínimo no clube. A previsão mais lógica é de que entre no Campeonato Brasileiro
lutando para não cair, certo? Errado.
O ICASA chutou para escanteio qualquer teoria nesta Série B. De candidato ao
rebaixamento, a equipe de Juazeiro do Norte virou postulante ao G-4. Não só
passou longe da luta contra o descenso (só figurou em uma rodada entre os
quatro piores) como paquera com o acesso há um bom tempo (ficou 14 rodadas
entre os seis melhores).
Isso tudo
com uma folha salarial que não passa dos R$ 300 mil, um custo operacional que
(no mês mais puxado) beira os R$ 500 mil, um elenco sem nomes badalados e um
treinador de 36 anos que tem apenas a segunda chance na carreira.

Moraes assumiu o ICASA em junho. Trouxe indicações e reforços. Somou ao time
montado com muitos jogadores rodados no futebol nordestino nomes como o volante
Radamés e o zagueiro Bruno Perone - só para citar os dois primeiros que
desembarcaram com ele.
O fato é que
o time deu liga. Neilson, Teles, Chapinha, Tadeu, Juninho Potiguar são só
alguns integrantes de uma engrenagem comprometida com um sonho que se abriu
para o clube durante a Série B. Todos baratos, eficientes e com um perfil
parecido - algo que a diretoria planejou para evitar problemas fora de campo.
Por essas
razões, o ICASA é o grande clube do Nordeste em 2013. Faz muito mais do que era
esperado. Uma campanha épica que pode levar o Verdão do Cariri à elite do
futebol nacional.
Se é sorte
ou outra coisa qualquer, não interessa, temos sim, que tirar o chapéu para este
clube e para este time e logicamente, para este jovem treinador. Se vão ter
este mesmo desempenho ou sorte, na primeira divisão, isto é outra história.
Espero sim,
que seja ele que suba, juntamente com o outro Nordestino, Sport Club do Recife,
que vira e mexe mostra suas deficiências e seu amadorismo, pois, poderia sim
está disputando na cabeça para ser campeão da segunda divisão, mas, será muito
bom ter mais estes dois clubes nordestinos na Serie A em 2014, de nosso
cambaleante futebol amador.
Que me
desculpem os que pensam o contrário. É por isto que não me chamam para
trabalhar em Recife, porque estou sempre mostrando a verdade, doa em quem doer.
