Lesões de alemães preocupam Oliver Kahn para a Copa do Mundo / Injuries of German concern Oliver Kahn for the World Cup

Nomes como Khedira, Schweinsteiger e Özil sofreram com lesões nesta temporada e podem não chegar no mais alto nível para o Mundial.

O goleiro Oliver Kahn está preocupado com as lesões de jogadores chave para a Alemanha na Copa do Mundo. Sami Khedira e Bastian Schweinsteiger perderam grande parte desta temporada com problemas no joelho e tornozelo, respectivamente, enquanto Mesut Özil está desfalcando o Arsenal com uma lesão muscular.

A três meses do Mundial no Brasil, o capitão alemão na Copa de 2002 teme que essas e outras lesões prejudiquem o desempenho dos principais jogadores da seleção de Joaquin Löw, uma das favoritas ao título em 2014.

“A seis meses atrás eu tinha sensação de que tínhamos grandes chances de ganhar a Copa do Mundo. Claro que existem Espanha e Brasil, mas nossa equipe foi incrível nas eliminatórias. Os últimos torneios da Alemanha sugerem que podemos ir muito longe. Por outro lado, as lesões são um grande problema”, disse ao site oficial da Alemanha.

“Khedira, Schweinsteiger, que ficou um longo tempo lesionado, Özil, Schmelzer, Hummels... Especialmente com o grande calor e as longas viagem no Brasil, o treinador precisa saber quais os jogadores que estão aptos para este torneio”, concluiu.

Não resta a menor dúvida de que, estes atletas farão falta, mas, infelizmente o futebol tem destas coisas, e isto já aconteceu com o Brasil também em diversas copas, lembrem de Pelé, Garrincha, Clodoaldo, Emerson, Romário, e tantos outros. Então meu prezado Kahn, não adianta começar a chorar até mesmo antes de derramarem o leite, a vida tem destas coisas, e aí vem a tal da competência alemã, deem um jeito.

The goalkeeper Oliver Kahn is concerned about the injuries of key players for Germany at the World Cup. Sami Khedira and Bastian Schweinsteiger missed much of this season with knee and ankle problems respectively, while Mesut Özil is missing at Arsenal with a hamstring injury.

Three months before the World Cup in Brazil, the German captain in the 2002 World Cup fears that these and other lesions impair the performance of key players selecting Joaquin Löw, a favorite for the title in 2014.

"Six months ago I had the feeling we had big chances to win the World Cup. Of course there are Spain and Brazil, but our team was amazing in the playoffs. The last tournament in Germany suggests that we can go far. Moreover, injuries are a big problem, "said the official site of Germany.
