PARA TENTAR EVITAR “GRUPO DA MORTE”, A FIFA BAGUNÇA E CRIA SORTEIO DENTRO DO SORTEIO / TO TRY TO AVOID “GROUP OF DEATH”, FIFA MESS AND CREATES A LOTTERY WITHIN A LOTTERY GROUP

Uma grande manobra da FIFA aumentou bastante a chance de se evitar um grupo da morte com 10 títulos mundiais em campo. Para não deixar a França como a única seleção isolada da Europa em um dos potes do sorteio, a entidade máxima do futebol bagunçou - e muito - a forma como vai definir os grupos do Mundial de 2014.

O sorteio da Copa do Mundo acontece às 14 horas (horário de Brasília) da próxima sexta-feira e terá cobertura especial e completa dos canais ESPN.

Todo o problema aconteceu porque os potes para o sorteio da Copa possuem oito times cada e são definidos de maneira geográfica. Desta vez, porém, sobraram nove equipes europeias. Todos esperavam que a França fosse colocada junto com os africanos e os sul-americanos. Isto porque os franceses eram os piores europeus no ranking da FIFA, considerando os números de outubro, utilizados na definição dos cabeças-de-chave.

A ideia da FIFA, porém, foi diferente. O pote dos grupos europeus ficou com nove equipes. 

Uma delas será sorteada para integrar o grupo com africanos e sul-americanos.

Além disso, ainda será criado um chamado pote X, que contará com os quatro sul-americanos que serão cabeças-de-chave na Copa. (Brasil, Argentina, Colômbia e Uruguai). A seleção sorteada será aquela que terá em seu grupo o time europeu previamente sorteado para o pote 2. Só depois o sorteio seguirá normalmente.

Dilma promises nine stadiums ready in 2012 for the World Cup in 2014/Dilma promete nove estádios da Copa prontos em 2012.

A presidente Dilma Roussef garantiu nesta terça-feira que a construção e reforma dos estádios para a Copa do Mundo de 2014 não estão atrasadas, mas no 'ritmo adequado'. Além disso, prometeu que nove dos 12 estádios que vão receber partidas do torneio estarão prontos até o final de 2012.

'A reforma e a construção de estádios estão em ritmo adequado. Das 12 arenas que receberão os jogos, 10 estão em obras, sendo que a conclusão de nove delas está prevista para dezembro de 2012, bem antes do início da Copa', afirmou Dilma na coluna semanal Conversa com a Presidenta ao responder o questionamento de uma leitora.

A presidente também tratou de minimizar as preocupações com o atraso nas obras dos estádios do Corinthians, em São Paulo, e da Arena das Dunas, em Natal. 'Os obstáculos à construção do Itaquerão, em São Paulo, já foram superados e estão sendo criadas as condições para o início das obras na Arena das Dunas, em Natal', disse.

Os atrasos nas obras para a Copa do Mundo são fonte de preocupação no Brasil e também fora do País, sendo inclusive alvo de críticas de dirigentes da FIFA. A situação causou preocupação sobre as condições do Brasil para sediar o torneio.

'O governo federal, em parceria com governos estaduais e municipais trabalha, portanto, para o cumprimento de todos os compromissos assumidos', afirmou Dilma, que apontou a aprovação, pelo Congresso Nacional, do Regime Diferenciado de Contratações como um avanço para as obras.

O temor sobre as condições do Brasil para receber a Copa do Mundo de 2014 também envolve as condições dos aeroportos das cidades que irão receber o torneio. Mas Dilma afirmou que as obras já começaram em seis aeroportos e que a licitação já está em andamento em outros cinco.

Gostaria muitíssimo de ter esta segurança que a nossa presidente tem, mas ela sabe o que está falando e tem autoridade para isto. Só gostaria de comentar que fiz um percurso de ônibus/metro em Recife para sentir o que se necessita fazer, e precisamos fazer é quase tudo.

Começa pelo próprio Metro Rec que é devagar demais, não temos horários, chega a parar no meio do nada, mal informa e somente em Portugues, muita gente que não deveria esta ali (vendedores, mendigos, crianças, etc.) e principalmente segurança. Que saudade de ver os ônibus em Miami, por exemplo; terem afixados nos pontos de paradas seu horário e que é cumprido fielmente ou então nos horários dos trens na Europa, sua pontualidade, sua limpeza sua funcionalidade e a operacionalidade de interação entre os meios de transportes.

Temos realmente que fazer muito, diria até que se quisermos apresentar uma copa comparada a da alemã, temos que fazer é tudo. Nossos transportes coletivos e principalmente os administrados por estatais, nossa logística e nossa operacionalidade estão longe e ponha distancia nisto na condição de operacionalidade, funcionalidade e conforto dos meios de transportes de primeiro mundo.

O transito em Recife é caótico, e quando chove, sinceramente temos que refazer toda a malha viária de automóveis, duplicar será pouco para que as coisas andem e não cheguem ao caos em Julho de 2014. Não estou vendo muita coisa sendo feita neste sentido e estou muito temeroso.
