Cerca de 30 mil trabalhadores da construção pesada da Bahia entraram em greve nesta quinta-feira, reivindicando melhorias nas condições de trabalho. De acordo com a Força Sindical, todas as obras do Estado estão paradas desde às 6 horas desta manhã, incluindo a da Arena Fonte Nova, estádio que será um dos palcos da Copa do Mundo de 2014 e que tem pretensão de receber jogos da Copa das Confederações de 2013.

Os trabalhadores se reuniram durante a manhã, em sua maioria, na Praça Fórum Ruy Barbosa, no Campo da Pólvora em Nazaré, próximo ao centro de Salvador. A paralisação afeta as principais obras do Estado, entre elas a construção da Via expressa, da Via Bahia, Polo Naval, Parques Eólicos, Ferrovia Leste/Oeste e do Metrô.

Segundo informações da presidente da Força Sindical da Bahia, Nair Goulart, as obras envolvidas representam investimento de R$ 20 bilhões de 300 empresas além de obras do Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC) do governo.

De acordo com a Força Sindical, entre as principais reivindicações estão reajuste de 13% do salário, 40 horas semanais, com trabalho de segunda a sexta-feira, planos de saúde e segurança do trabalho, pisos salariais unificados nacionalmente, pagamento de horas extras, cesta básica de R$ 250, entre outros.

Goulart afirma que o Sindicato dos Trabalhadores nas Indústrias da Construção Pesada e Montagem Industrial da Bahia (SINTEPAV) negociam com o sindicato patronal há 70 dias e, como não houve acordo, a greve aconteceu. A data-base de reajuste salarial era 1.º de março, e, segundo a presidente da Força Sindical, para o reajuste acontecer ele terá que ser empregado com o retroativo.

Por volta das 11h30, havia terminado uma assembleia entre a Força Sindical e o sindicato patronal, na qual as empresas foram informadas que os trabalhadores recusaram a proposta sugerida. As empresas do setor sugeriram aumento salarial de 10% e cesta básica de R$ 160, segundo informações de Nair Goulart, os operários mantêm a solicitação por aumento de 14% e cesta básica de R$ 220.

A Força Sindical informa que não há previsão de término da greve, mas que na tarde desta quinta-feira pode acontecer uma nova negociação. Uma assembleia está marcada para a próxima sexta, na Praça do Fórum Ruy Barbosa.

A EMOP, empresa de obras públicas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e responsável pela da obra, reconheceu o impacto que a greve pode ter no prazo de entrega da reforma do estádio.

'O compromisso com a FIFA é dezembro de 2012 e a Copa das Confederações acontece seis meses depois. Com certeza a greve prejudica sim, mas temos fôlego e com certeza podemos usar os primeiros meses de 2013', disse à Reuters um funcionário da EMOP sob condição de anonimato.

Procurado, o consórcio formado pelas construtoras Andrade Gutierrez, Delta e Odebrecht que afirmaram que ainda estão fazendo cálculos mais precisos sobre as consequências dos quase 15 dias de paralisação no andamento das obras, orçadas em cerca de 860 milhões de reais.

O secretário estadual de obras e vice-governador do Estado, Luiz Fernando Pezão, evitou ser taxativo sobre os riscos de atraso na entrega da obra.

'As empresas são grandes, têm capacidade de resposta e acho que as negociações vão chegar a bom termo. Há uma exploração disso e vamos ver como vai ficar', afirmou ele por telefone.

Os operários reivindicam melhores condições de alimentação no canteiro de obras, presença permanente de administradores e médicos, aumento do valor da cesta básica, inclusão de parentes no plano de saúde, entre outras.

Uma audiência de conciliação aconteceu na segunda feira na Justiça do Trabalho do Rio, mas não houve acordo entre as partes. As empresas responsáveis consideram a greve abusiva.

Pois é meus prezados, hoje se espirra na Europa e se adoece na América Latina, por causa deste espirro. O mundo tornou-se menor, globalizou-se e tudo o que acontece é imediatamente repercutido em todos os lados, exceto quando estamos em países subdesenvolvidos como o nosso, é uma pena.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Os aeroportos são um dos limites que o Brasil têm e que precisam ser resolvidos na preparação para a Copa do Mundo de 2014, disse nesta sexta-feira o ministro do Esporte, Orlando Silva, após apresentar um balanço das ações do governo para o Mundial ao presidente da FIFA, Joseph Blatter.

Blatter, que está no Brasil com a cúpula da FIFA para o primeiro evento oficial da Copa do Mundo, recuou esta semana das críticas feitas recentemente à preparação brasileira e disse que aposta na realização de um Mundial 'excepcional'.

Segundo o ministro, partiu dele a iniciativa de apresentar os aeroportos e os sistemas de transportes públicos como os maiores desafios do governo nos próximos anos, depois que a questão dos estádios foi resolvida com a equação financeira e o início das obras nas 12 arenas da competição.

“Informei ao presidente Blatter que eu tenho consciência dos limites que o país possui, das tarefas que o país terá que cumprir, e o esforço do governo é cumprir cada uma das tarefas pra melhorar a estrutura, melhorar os serviços, garantir os estádios e oferecer um país adequado à realização do Mundial”, disse Silva a jornalistas.

“Nós precisamos aperfeiçoar os aeroportos. O Brasil é um continente e a circulação se dará sobretudo pelo sistema aeroportuário quando o Mundial acontecer.”

“Nós acreditamos que é possível e necessário melhorar o transporte público, dois exemplos de tema que estão na agenda e serão enfrentados”, acrescentou.

A decisão do governo de conceder à iniciativa privada os principais aeroportos do país para obras de ampliação e reforma foi elogiado por Blatter, segundo o ministro.

Ele acrescentou que o dirigente suíço mais uma vez fez elogios ao país, destacando principalmente a força da economia brasileira no cenário internacional como uma prova da capacidade do Brasil de organizar o torneio.

“Eu tenho insistido que na medida que a FIFA se aproxime mais do Brasil, acompanhe mais de perto a preparação, eles vão aumentar a confiança quanto ao sucesso da Copa de 2014”, disse.

“É natural a preocupação deles, como é a natural a nossa preocupação de que tudo passe bem. A essa altura o que nós temos que fazer é trabalhar, não é comentar, mas é trabalhar”, disse o ministro após o encontro, do qual também participaram o presidente do comitê organizador da Copa, Ricardo Teixeira, e o secretário-executivo da FIFA, Jêrome Valcke.

Certamente que o Brasil como um País transcontinental deve ter uma logística completamente diferente que a usada na Alemanha e isto já deveria ter sido pensado e tratado. Como se pode assistir um jogo em Recife e depois ir-se a Porto Alegre, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, etc.

Além de termos problemas estruturais nos aeroportos temos uma administração capenga, arcaica e em desuso. Temos grandes problemas nas estradas que tentam ligar o Brasil de Norte a Sul, Leste a Oeste, e a distância que se deve percorrer são como se fôssemos da Suíça a Portugal e lógico que lá eles tem estradas expressas quase sem nenhum limite de velocidade e perfeitas, o que já nos deixa anos luz atrás.

Além de que os preços usados no nosso País não condizem com a realidade dos salários pagos, então, temos realmente problemas estruturais que logo, logo, algumas greves irão mostrar, é somente esperar para ver. Sem falar que tudo isto deve ser sinalizado em Inglês (linguagem oficial da FIFA) e que até agora não vi ninguém falando neste pequeno (grande) detalhe para o futebol.
