Comentarista e apresentador dos canais ESPN deu a notícia em primeira-mão, na última quarta-feira, em seu blog no UOL.
Em meio às recentes derrotas políticas da cidade de São Paulo envolvendo a Copa do Mundo de 2014 no Brasil, como a perda do centro internacional de imprensa (IBC) para o Rio de Janeiro e a exclusão da Copa das Confederações de 2013, a Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) já deu o recado nos bastidores: o jogo de abertura do Mundial deve ser realizado no Estádio do Mineirão, em Belo Horizonte.
A informação é do jornalista Juca Kfouri, comentarista e apresentador dos canais ESPN, e foi postada em seu blog no UOL na última quarta-feira. Segundo Juca, o presidente da CBF e do Comitê Organizador Local (COL) da Copa de 2014, Ricardo Teixeira, disse ao governador de Goiás, Marconi Perillo (PSDB), que já avisou ao senador Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG), ex-governador de Minas Gerais, de que a abertura do Mundial será no Mineirão.
Em post publicado às 15h10 da última quarta, dia 8 de junho, com o título "Abre no Mineirão", Juca Kfouri diz textualmente: "Nenhum dos três confirmará, mas Ricardo Teixeira disse a Marconi Perillo, o tucano que governa Goiás, que já avisou ao seu amigo Aécio Neves que a abertura da Copa do Mundo será no Mineirão".
A briga política em torno do palco da primeira partida da Copa do Mundo de 2014 voltou a dividir o PSDB, partido que governa os estados de São Paulo e Minas Gerais, e demonstrou empatias e antipatias de Teixeira em relação a políticos tucanos. O presidente da CBF é amigo pessoal de Aécio, um dos únicos representantes do partido com quem tem interlocução.
Com São Paulo, entretanto, a situação é diferente. O cartola não tem boa relação com o ex-governador paulista e candidato derrotado à presidência no ano passado, José Serra (PSDB), nem com o atual governador, Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB), sucessor de Serra no cargo.
Teixeira foi investigado por duas Comissões Parlamentares de Inquérito (CPIs) no Congresso Nacional no início dos anos 2000, ainda durante o mandato do ex-presidente Fernando Henrique Cardoso (PSDB), ainda o principal líder nacional dos tucanos.
Durante o governo de Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), o dirigente conseguiu ter grande interlocução com o Executivo, o que ainda não aconteceu neste início de mandato da presidenta Dilma Rousseff (PT).
A escolha pelo Mineirão seria justificada por Teixeira por critérios técnicos. O estádio é o que tem a reforma mais adiantada entre as principais sedes da Copa do Mundo de 2014, ao passo que São Paulo enfrenta problemas com a construção do futuro estádio do Corinthians, o Itaquerão, cujas obras se iniciaram somente na semana passada. Além disso, escolher o Mineirão significaria uma vitória do grupo ligado a Aécio, adversário interno de Serra e da ala paulista dentro do PSDB.
Estas declarações mostram que acima do que o Pais precisa, temos pessoas que colocam seu próprio interesse e além disso, são pessoas que se dizem publicas e que deveriam trabalhar para o Brasil e não para satisfazer seu egocentrismo e seus planos pessoais. Era somente o que faltava para complicar o desenvolvimento das obras e do planejamento de abertura da Copa, é uma pena, mas é a pura verdade.
