Emerson Sheik já vestiu a camisa de duas seleções em sua carreira. Ainda
jovem, atuou por equipes de base do Brasil. Em 2008, ídolo no Qatar, foi
convocado para defender o país. O fato gerou uma grande dúvida sobre sua
carreira. Ele pode voltar a jogar pela seleção brasileira?
O jogador torce para que sim. Aos 34 anos, conquistar um título com a
camisa amarela é seu maior sonho. Tanto que o escritório de seu empresário,
Reinaldo Pitta, já busca informações na FIFA a respeito de sua situação. Em
2008, após entrar em campo pelo Qatar contra o Iraque, a entidade notificou o
atleta e disse que ele estava proibido de atuar pelo time nacional, justamente
por já ter defendido o Brasil quando jovem.
Na relação de atletas do Mundial de Clubes, entretanto, a FIFA
classificou o jogador como Qatari (nascido ou de cidadania do Qatar), e voltou
a suscitar dúvida sobre sua condição. Na torcida para que seja liberado,
Emerson espera ter a primeira oportunidade na seleção principal aos 34 anos.
Ele admite que é difícil estrear a essa altura, mas nem pensa em ter apenas uma
oportunidade.
Sheik quer disputar a Copa das Confederações e a Copa do Mundo. Quer
fazer história.
- Não quero ter a chance de fazer só um jogo por estar num bom momento,
sendo campeão aqui, e ali. Isso, de coração, não quero. Tenho o sonho de marcar
também na Seleção, conquistar um título, isso não tem preço. Fui campeão em
todos os clubes por onde passei, se estou no lugar tenho que ganhar. Na Seleção
também seria assim. Já tenho 34 anos, mas não acho impossível. Queria ter um
título na Seleção para mostrar aos meus filhos daqui a dez anos.
A chegada de Luiz Felipe Scolari, em substituição a Mano Menezes, foi o
combustível que faltava para Sheik voltar a ficar otimista por uma convocação.
Em suas primeiras entrevistas como técnico da seleção brasileira, ele deu a
entender que jogadores mais experientes voltariam a ganhar espaço no grupo,
formado em sua maioria por jovens sob o comando de Mano. Imediatamente, nomes
como os de Ronaldinho, Júlio Cesar e Lúcio, todos titulares do Brasil em Copas
do Mundo anteriores, foram citados. Mas Sheik, mesmo sem história na equipe,
acha que pode ser lembrado.
A boa fase do Corinthians é outro fator essencial para que suas chances
cresçam. Desde que chegou, em 2011, o jogador já foi campeão brasileiro (pela
terceira vez consecutiva, já que antes havia vencido por Flamengo e
Fluminense), da Libertadores e mundial. Prato cheio para reivindicar uma
oportunidade.
- Pela experiência dele (Felipão) na Seleção, acho que foi uma ótima
escolha. Tinha aquela coisa da Copa estar se aproximando e o torcedor não saber
quem são os onze jogadores. Antigamente a gente sabia. Acho que a chegada dele vai dar uma cara nova
e acredito que jogadores de sua confiança devam retornar. Ele disse que vai
contar com jogadores experientes, então isso abre as portas e deixa todo mundo
feliz.
Emerson garante que sua experiência no futebol, e na vida, pode dar mais
maturidade e vivência ao time brasileiro, hoje formado por garotos como Neymar,
Lucas, Oscar e Leandro Damião.
- São jogadores de muito talento, mas que talvez não tenham esses
aspectos. O fato é que o treinador da Seleção terá um leque enorme de grandes
jogadores.
Vejam só a baderna em que o futebol brasileiro se transformou, agora o
próprio jogador se convoca, com ajuda de alguns que se trocam por algumas
moedas de prata; diz o estatuto da FIFA que o atleta que tenha defendido
um País, mesmo que seja outro diferente do que é nativo, ele nunca mais poderá jogar pelo País em que nasceu. Agora, alguns empresários,
devido a falta de comando, de lisura e de transparência dos homens que hoje
fazem a CBF, e esperam ainda....que a FIFA cai nessa, tentam incutir e plantam estas “peruas”, tentando mudar as regras
em seu beneficio próprio, aliás, como tentou fazer quando comprou carros
importado sem pagar os impostos.
Ele nunca foi convocado para a seleção principal, mesmo sendo um grande jogador, e trata-se de um jogador interessante,
mas não o jogador diferenciado, e na idade dele, temos uma meia dúzia de outros
que inclusive já mostraram sua competência, além de que estamos falando numa
Copa do Mundo em 2014. Quero salientar que não o conheço e nada tenho contra,
somente não gosto de ser tratado como babaca, e é isto que seus procuradores
querem fazer, tentando tapar o sol com uma peneira e ele próprio com esta entrevista.
Infelizmente muitos pensam que está muito fácil de ludibriar as regras e a decência, e ainda contam com certos “experts” do futebol que escrevem para grandes
órgãos noticiosos, mas que se vendem por bananas para tentar incutir tais idiossincrasias.
Estão colocando palavras na boca do novo Técnico da seleção brasileira, nomes
que passaram e infelizmente, mesmo sendo excelentes jogadores nada trouxeram e o
que é pior, já estão sem condições físicas, seu tempo já passou ou alguém quer
perder novamente outra copa do Mundo em casa, eu não. Aliás, isto não passa de
uma pegadinha e não caio nessa, pois, também tenho sonhos, jogar pela seleção brasileira é um dos sonhos e ganhar uma Copa é outro, mas a realidade é outra e muito diferente.
