Há algumas semanas, em uma
segunda-feira, cheguei para trabalhar na Band e conversando com a produção do
‘Os Donos da Bola’ descobri que um dos convidados do programa seria o Gilberto,
novo atacante apresentado pela Portuguesa. Com toda a sinceridade não soube
identificá-lo. Foi quando me disseram que se tratava do camisa 9 que fez muito
sucesso no Santa Cruz e que tinha recusado o Corinthians para ir ao
Internacional.
Gilberto é o
vice-artilheiro do Brasileiro com 13 gols.
Fiquei
com aquela curiosidade: porque será que ele mal entrava nas partidas do Inter?
Ele me disse que além do titular Leandro Damião a ideia da direção era
valorizar alguns jovens da base. Se sentiu menosprezado e pediu para sair.
Então fui na ferida e questionei: porque então não foi para o Corinthians, onde
já estava até com o contrato redigido? O Gilberto olhou para mim e falou: “Meu pai quis assim. Se
arrependimento matasse, viu?”.
Não dá pra saber hoje se ele daria certo no Timão.
Fato é que o destino o levou para a Portuguesa, onde é vice-artilheiro do
Brasileirão com 13 gols (só fica atrás do Ederson do Furacão com 15). Na média
ele supera todo mundo já que marcou esses 13 em apenas 16 partidas. Analisando
tecnicamente dá pra ver que esse menino tem muita qualidade no arranque e no
arremate pra gol. Mas o diferencial dele é que seu estilo rompedor. Divide com
o adversário sem medo. Algo raro nos atacantes migués de hoje em dia. Os
direitos dele ainda pertencem ao Inter, mas não acho que ele fique por lá nem
na Lusa em 2014. Alguém de fora deve vir forte para levá-lo.
Pois é, tem muito jogador que deixa seus familiares
brincarem de administrador profissional e dá nisto, perdem sempre as
oportunidades, e na maioria das vezes
saem da trilha principal, onde poderiam se diferenciar, acabando como outro simples
jogador. O que é uma pena, esperamos que o GILBERTO tenha muito caminho pela
frente e logicamente , com muito sucesso.

Well, lots of player's who leaves his family to play like professional
administrator and gives it to manage they career, always lose opportunities , and most often leave
the main trail, where they could differentiate themselves , ending up as
simply another player. What is a shame, and we expect that GILBERTO has long way to go
and of course, very successfully .
