A diretoria do Hertha Berlim, da Alemanha, anunciou através do seu site
oficial que irá fazer um seguro para a filha do ex-jogador Alex Alves, que
faleceu na última quarta-feira, aos 37 anos de idade, por conta de uma rara
doença na medula óssea.
"É claro que nós ajudaremos a menina. Vamos fazer um seguro para que ela
possa usar quando for maior de idade. Acho que é justo que ajudemos Alessandra
por tudo que seu pai fez por nós", afirmou o diretor esportivo do clube
alemão, Michael Preetz.
Alex Alves tem boa passagem pelo clube de Berlim: de 1999 a 2003, o atacante
vestiu a camisa azul e branca 81 vezes e balançou as redes adversárias em 25
ocasiões. Em 2000, o baiano fez o gol mais bonito do Campeonato Alemão, em
forte chute do meio-campo.
O Hertha também deverá homenagear o ex-atacante neste final de semana com um
minuto de silêncio antes do jogo contra o St. Pauli, pela segunda divisão do
Campeonato Alemão. O mesmo gesto de homenagem deverá ocorrer em Salvador, no
jogo entre Bahia e Ponte Preta, pelo Nacional, por determinação da Federação
Baiana de Futebol.
Vejam o exemplo de um clube profissional de futebol e que mesmo estando
em outro continente, mostra que é leal e está ligada a transparência e decência
em sua administração. Com um seu ex-jogador, parabéns ao Hertha pelo seu
gesto e que sirva de exemplo aos nossos clubes.
Em tempo, aqui os clubes se furtam a prestar declarações sobre um
jogador ou técnico para apenas regularizar sua pendência junto ao INNS, por
exemplo, do ex-técnico Mauricio Simões, que faleceu e sua esposa e filhos,
ficaram dependendo disto para poder ter direito a sua pensão. Isto é uma
vergonha.
