O Santos teve a Vila Belmiro penhorada nesta terça-feira pelo seu ex-presidente Marcelo Teixeira devido a uma ação promovida na justiça contra o time alvinegro. O estádio foi dado como garantia do processo movido pelo ex-mandatário santista, que cobra R$ 17 milhões da equipe paulista.
O clube confirmou a informação em contato com a reportagem e acrescentou que seus advogados estão em audiência ainda nesta terça e vão assumir uma posição em breve. O jurídico do clube deve se pronunciar sobre o assunto nesta quarta.
A dívida vem da época em que Teixeira presidiu o Santos. Na ocasião, ele foi avalista de uma obrigação de R$ 15 milhões do time praiano com o banco Safra e o valor foi descontado de sua conta pessoal. Por isso, o processo foi aberto no final de maio
Sem um acordo para pagar o valor milionário com o seu ex-presidente, o Santos poderia ter dado outros tipos de garantia para quitar o débito com o antigo mandatário. A principal alternativa era oferecer o CT Meninos da Vila, mas o que acabou sendo penhorado foi mesmo o estádio do clube.
Momento delicado:
O anúncio da penhora não veio em boa hora para o Santos. A equipe vem de duas derrotas seguidas no Campeonato Brasileiro - ambas de virada, para São Paulo e Prudente - e perdeu a chance de encostar ainda mais nos líderes da competição.
Além disso, o time alvinegro viu o técnico Abel Braga, tido nos bastidores da Vila Belmiro como favorito para assumir o clube, recusar o convite santista para dirigir o time, conforme noticiou o Terra nesta terça.
Então a história se repete, vemos mais uma atitude de total destempero e falta de profissionalismo, além é claro, do “amor” tão propagado destas pessoas que se dizem em primeiro plano, fãs e dirigente. O que é uma pena, mais isto vem mostrar a realidade de nosso futebol administrado amadoramente.
Poderíamos falar aqui de quase todos os grandes clubes do futebol Brasileiro, que estão em dificuldade financeira, no vermelho e devendo até as receitas do Clube dos 13 e direitos televisivos, bem como cotas de patrocinadores que são escolhidos mais por amizade do que por valores e competência. Até quando o modelo falido e retrógado estará valendo? Até quando um Presidente não responde com seus bens particulares, os desmandos ou a má administração que trouxe para o clube, até quando.
