O Real Madrid, enfim, convenceu o Tottenham a
vender e pagará 120 milhões de euros (mais de R$ 361 milhões pelo câmbio atual)
pelo meia-atacante Gareth Bale, fazendo do galês o jogador mais caro da
história.
É o que garante em sua edição desta
quinta-feira o jornal "As", que já havia adiantado a cifra que seria
desembolsada em reportagem no último dia 26 de julho. O periódico espanhol
explica que o anúncio oficial, no entanto, ainda deve demorar alguns dias, a
pedido do presidente do clube inglês.
Depois de tirar o atacante Soldado do
Valencia, Daniel Levy ainda quer ratificar mais uma contratação de impacto, que
seria a do avante uruguaio Luis Suárez, do Liverpool, pelo qual briga com o
Arsenal. Só aí estaria tranquilo para que Bale seja finalmente anunciado pelo
Real.
Outro ponto a ser definido na negociação pelo
galês é a forma de pagamento. Técnico do Tottenham, André Villas-Boas gostaria
de ter envolvido na transação o lateral-esquerdo Fabio Coentrao ou o meia
argentino Ángel Di María ou, ainda, o jovem atacante Álvaro Morata - o clube
espanhol já avisou que não libera o novato no momento.
As negociações têm sido conduzidas por Levy,
pelo lado do Tottenham, e pelo diretor-geral José Ángel Sánchez, pelo lado do
time de Madri, sempre com o presidente merengue, Florentino Pérez, a par de
cada passo dado nas negociações.
Se o valor se confirmar, Bale superará
Cristiano Ronaldo como o jogador mais caro da história. O português foi
comprado do Manchester United pelo próprio Real Madrid por 96 milhões de euros,
no meio de 2009.
"É difícil falar sobre Bale porque ele
não é jogador do Real Madrid neste momento", disse o técnico Carlo
Ancelotti em uma coletiva de imprensa na noite de quarta, em Los Angeles, nos
Estados Unidos, onde o time faz um amistoso nesta quinta-feira contra o Los
Angeles Galaxy.
Estamos vendo no mundo da bola, um mundo de
dinheiro, mas, também não estamos vendo esta qualidade toda nestes jogadores,
para valerem tanto mais, que os brasileiros. O que estamos vendo é que
precisamos urgentemente, parar e pensar como devemos negociar, e quem deveria
ser o negociador dos atletas brasileiros, aqui no Nordeste escuta-se a
declaração de um dirigente de que o que valeu foi negociar com a Europa, e
pergunto, será, e o valor é irrelevante, será, e será que é por falta de
conhecimento ou será, ainda por outros motivos, falta de conhecimento ou
outros.
O que estamos presenciando mesmo é uma
debandada de bons jogadores brasileiros a preço de bananas ou de pinga (como
fala o comentarista e ex-jogador Neto), e depois quando estão no mercado
internacional seus valores mais que quadruplicam. Estamos vendo o futebol
passar por uma crise de existencialismo sem precedentes, ainda bem, que pelo
menos o Felipe Scolari está arrumando a seleção Brasileira, pena que esta
medida pode até mascarar (esconder) as outras que precisamos fazer.
