De acordo com Blatter a licença, inicialmente, vai até o final de janeiro de 2012.

"O senhor Teixeira pediu uma licença até o fim de janeiro. Até lá ele está fora da FIFA e fora do comitê organizador. Em janeiro nós vamos voltar a este assunto", se resumiu a explicar o presidente da FIFA, que concedeu entrevista coletiva ao fim da última reunião do Comitê Executivo da FIFA no ano.

No entanto, na sequência, Blatter voltou a revelar sua preocupação com o andamento das obras para o Mundial no Brasil. "O Comitê Executivo está preocupado quanto a isso", garantiu.

Durante o evento, o secretário geral da FIFA, Jerome Valcke, também falou. E, como de costume, criticou o andamento da Copa do Mundo de 2014. "Estamos preocupados que ainda não recebemos a confirmação do projeto de Lei Geral da Copa do Mundo. Ainda existem problemas com os aeroportos e estradas e não há muito transporte público, mas devo dizer que estamos muito felizes com o novo ministro dos Esportes do país e com seu apoio à Copa do Mundo", disse, elogiando Aldo Rebelo, que assumiu a pasta no lugar de Orlando Silva.

Continuo com uma impressão de que estamos brincando com fogo, às obras estão atrasadas e sempre estamos ouvindo noticias de greves e de outros rumores que continuam nos deixando preocupados. Sem falar que na data da Copa do Mundo aqui em Pernambuco, será inverno, época das chuvas e aí pense em problemas, principalmente para quem não está acostumado a ser arrastado nos carros por enxurradas ou então andar numa água imunda e cheia de doenças.

Espero que estejam providenciando helicópteros e lanchas para o caso de precisarmos e com certeza vamos precisar.

A venda de bebidas alcoólicas nos estádios é um dos pontos polêmicos da Lei Geral da Copa, que está agora em discussão no Congresso Nacional.

Durante audiência em comissão na Câmara dos Deputados, nesta terça-feira, em Brasília, o secretário-geral da FIFA, Jérôme Valcke, defendeu a venda de bebidas alcoólicas nos estádios da Copa de 2014. Ele lembrou que não houve problemas de violência nas duas últimas edições do Mundial, na África do Sul (2010) e na Alemanha (2006), quando aconteceu a comercialização de bebidas alcoólicas nas arenas que receberam jogos da competição.

"A FIFA não está aqui para embebedar as pessoas, mas vou passar documentos e informações e terão dificuldade de me provar que durante a Copa o álcool provocou algum detrimento", disse Valcke. "Temos esse acordo com nossa parceira Budweiser de venda de álcool controlada nos estádios. A venda controlada significa, por exemplo, que a cerveja é vendida em copos de plástico e não em garrafas ou latas, que podem ser utilizadas como armas."

E é isto mesmo, fui a muitos jogos na Alemanha, Itália, Suíça, EUA e Inglaterra e em todos se vende bebidas com álcool e tudo depende de como se faz as coisas. Aqui em nosso País, se implica com coisas que não tem nem fazem a diferença, beber no estádio, em um bar com todo o conforto, (ainda não temos isto aqui, infelizmente) mas deveremos ter, com o clube ganhando e o estado recebendo seus impostos ou beber na rua nos ambulantes, sem conforto, sem higiene, sem nenhuma estrutura, como animais.

Aqui não temos estatísticas para provar nada, temos alguns políticos ou pessoas que querem ganhar notoriedade, aparecendo na mídia, se proíbe uma coisa e se permite outra pior, que é o comércio ilegal de álcool a qualquer um e de qualquer maneira e isto é negócio realmente de terceiro mundo de gente que não tem conhecimento. Concordo com o Walcke quando ele diz que nas Copas do Mundo se bebe e a violência não vem disto, até acrescento, nas Olimpiadas também existe o comércio destas bebidas e não tem problemas.

Está na hora de pensarmos em ser profissionais e fazermos as coisas certas. Além disso o ex-presidente LULA aceitou isto.
