O técnico Cuca não ficou nada satisfeito
com a decisão da CBF de adiar o jogo do Atlético-MG contra o Flamengo, que
estava marcado para o próximo sábado, no Engenhão. A entidade máxima do futebol
brasileiro alegou que o gramado do estádio não tem condições de suportar a
partida e, por isso, optou por transferir o confronto para uma data que ainda
será agendada.
O comandante atleticano afirmou que entende e respeita a decisão de preservar o gramado, mas disse ser no mínimo estranho o Flamengo ter publicado uma nota no site oficial agradecendo à CBF pelo adiamento da partida. Cuca disse ainda que não entendeu a situação, que, na opinião do treinador, irá prejudicar o planejamento do time que comanda.
"A gente entende que o Botafogo quer proteger o campo por duas semanas. Foi um pedido do Botafogo. Causa estranheza porque no site do Flamengo tem um agradecimento à CBF. O Flamengo agradece uma situação que privilegia o Botafogo. É assunto delicado. Não gosto de polêmica. Mas a gente fica meio perplexo. Se é um pedido do Botafogo, como tem o agradecimento de outro clube? Não estou conseguindo entender", declarou.
Cuca deixou claro que foi pego de surpresa com a notícia do adiamento do jogo e julga que o time mineiro foi prejudicado, já que a equipe vem em uma sequência de boa de jogos, mas pode perder a liderança do Brasileiro com a paralisação. O treinador do Atlético-MG lembrou que no último domingo o Atlético-MG atuou no Engenhão, enfrentando o Fluminense, e que o estádio tinha condições normais de jogo.
"Para mim foi uma surpresa. Uma péssima surpresa. Você está embalado numa competição e você quer dar sequência ao momento. Para nós essa parada de dez, 12 dias não é boa no aspecto técnico, pelo momento que vivemos. A gente vai se inteirando do ocorrido e procura entender. A gente trabalha com futebol e também quer ter uma condição boa de jogo. Domingo passado nós jogamos lá e tinha condição", disse.

Suplementação de Luz, para mitigar o sombreamento e ajudar no crescimento do
gramado do Estádio no período de inverno”.

nosso futebol e da própria CBF, que infelizmente continua nos mesmos moldes da
presidência anterior sem transparência e sem decência. A diretoria do clube de
Porto Alegre deve repercutir isto e exijir explicações, ou não aceite, esta é
nossa opinião, pois do contrário vamos ver virada de mesa e disputa em tapetão,
se por ventura o clube carioca for rebaixado, para não ir para a segunda
divisão.
