Longe dos
holofotes, o técnico Vanderlei Luxemburgo está encantado com a estrutura do
Grêmio. O treinador garante que está em um momento diferente da carreira e já
passou da fase de busca por afirmação. Contratado pelo clube gaúcho no início
da temporada fez uma imersão de quatro meses no Rio Grande do Sul, para mesclar
o estilo aguerrido da equipe com a técnica que tanto gosta de ver em suas
equipes.
O
treinador garante que aprendeu com todos no Grêmio, desde o presidente até a
torcida. Sabe que o time tem chances de conquistar o Brasileiro, mas prefere
desviar o foco para uma vaga na Libertadores. Em entrevista exclusiva ao
"Estado", publicada nesta terça-feira, Luxemburgo falou sobre o
futebol praticado no País, sobre a Copa de 2014 e defendeu a permanência de
Neymar no Brasil.
Ao ser
questionado se o Barcelona é o exemplo a ser seguido atualmente como modelo de
sucesso para o futebol brasileiro, o treinador lembrou que no passado o País se
especializou em produzir equipes como a atual dos espanhóis.
"Existe
uma desvalorização muito grande do futebol brasileiro. Falam que o Barcelona é
um exemplo de time. Mas, quantos times no Brasil se fez como este? Um monte. O
Flamengo de Zico tinha 70% de posse de bola. O Santos, que foi campeão da
Libertadores, dava espetáculo toda hora. E é recente. Não estou criticando o
Barcelona, mas é questão de olhar com bons olhos. Quando falei que iria colocar
o Ronaldinho no Flamengo como o Messi joga no Barcelona, me criticaram, pois
achavam absurdo não ter centroavante.
É a cultura
do Brasil. A Copa de 1970 foi o maior exemplo de que não precisa ter
centroavante, o Tostão estava nessa posição, mas fazia igual ao Messi, atuava
como meia adiantado", analisou o comandante.
Luxemburgo
ainda disse que o fato de hoje o Brasil não exibir equipes com um futebol
vistoso é fruto da excessiva preocupação com a defesa e da mudança do estilo de
jogo dos times nacionais, que passaram a se pautar nas equipes europeias.
"Quem
inventou três zagueiros no Brasil? Isso fez com que acabassem os laterais e os
meias, eu venho combatendo isso há muito tempo. Quando fizemos isso na Copa de
90, fiquei muito preocupado com o futebol brasileiro. Fomos imitar os europeus,
com o estilo de jogo deles, e esquecemos que tínhamos de incentivar a nossa
qualidade, sem abrir mão da modernidade e do compromisso tático. O que
aconteceu? Mudamos nosso estilo, perdemos a nossa irresponsabilidade na arte de
jogar futebol, que é a maior qualidade que o atleta brasileiro tem. A parte
individual quebra a parte tática. Não podíamos tirar essa magia",
completou.
COPA DE
2014 - Já ao falar da Copa de 2014, o comandante disse que hoje se vê como um
futuro espectador da competição, embora admita que foi procurado para dirigir
outras seleções. "Já tive um monte de convites, mas não me vejo
trabalhando numa seleção para jogar contra o Brasil. Não me preparei para isso.
O Brasil está bem encaminhado pelo Mano e vou ficar como espectador",
disse, depois de revelar certa frustração ao ser questionado se pretende ajudar
de alguma forma o Brasil no Mundial.
"Aqui
no Brasil não chamam a gente para nada, essa é a grande verdade. Mesmo com a
experiência que temos de técnico, ex-jogador e não sou chamado. Talvez o único
cara que é solicitado no Brasil para tudo é o Parreira", afirmou.
NEYMAR -
Grande nome da seleção brasileira na atualidade e hoje considerado o principal
trunfo do País para a Copa de 2014, Neymar teve a sua permanência no Brasil
defendida por Luxemburgo.
"O
mercado brasileiro oferece a condição de crescer aqui. Hoje, paga-se melhor que
em muitos lugares da Europa. Não vai acrescentar nada para a carreira dele sair
do Brasil para depois voltar e jogar a Copa do Mundo aqui.
Ele está
entre os três maiores jogadores do mundo e é melhor ficar aqui, corrigindo seus
defeitos e ser o grande nome do Brasil. O único problema que vejo é que a
imprensa criou uma proteção muito grande para o Neymar.
Ele tem
grande talento, mas não precisa ser protegido. Parece que não se pode marcar
duro. O que não pode ser é desleal. E o Neymar está sofrendo para tirar isso de
dentro dele, que faz parte do processo de crescimento. A gente viu isso agora
na Olimpíada, ele sofreu com isso", opinou.
GRÊMIO -
Já ao comentar sobre a atual situação do Grêmio, que hoje ocupa a terceira
posição do Brasileirão, apenas três pontos atrás de Atlético-MG e Fluminense,
Luxemburgo garantiu que ainda não pensa na conquista do título.
"Como
posso pensar em disputa de título se estou atrás? Eu quero ir chegando mais
perto. Se continuarmos vencendo e eles (líderes) também, não ganharemos nada.
Mas se vencermos e eles não, a gente encosta. O discurso é de pensar no nosso
objetivo, que hoje é o da Libertadores.
Essa é a
realidade. A grande mudança é que o técnico hoje tem o projeto de levar o time
para a Libertadores, isso aumenta a receita em até R$ 30 milhões.
Isso está
dentro dos contratos formatados nos clubes com os treinadores, como meta. O São
Paulo foi campeão seguido da Libertadores porque antes havia disputado seis
vezes seguidas.
Esse ano
falei: ''Acho que o Corinthians vai ser campeão da Libertadores'', pois o time
vinha de várias disputas anteriores, perdendo, sofrendo. As pessoas entenderam
que a Libertadores é a Liga dos Campeões da América do Sul. Isso está
valorizado", analisou.
Pela
primeira vez na minha modesta opinião, concordo com tudo que o
Wanderley falou, finalmente está com os pés no chão, acho que deve ser a idade, e até os
netos que estão lhe dando esta condição de sensatez, comigo se passa a mesma coisa.
Sobre o
valor do futebol brasileiro e de copiarmos o atual modelo espanhol, acho definitivamente
que Wanderley está certíssimo, não temos que copiar ninguém. Nós somos os donos
do melhor futebol do mundo e quem já passou do meio século de vida, sabe do
que estou falando.
E sobre
termos esta síndrome de tentarmos sempre olhar o quintal do vizinho, e achar
que eles é que estão certos ou jogando melhor que nós, quero lembrar que
somente o Brasil tem cinco títulos de Campeão Mundial e o que nos falta é
apenas uma medalha de ouro para sermos e estarmos completos, em todos os
tempos, como o País do futebol.
Só quero
deixar uma nota, que noto, precisa ser notada. Nossos comentaristas recentes
precisam deixar mais de olhar e falar no futebol internacional, até procurando com
isto chamar atenção sobre si e parecer intelectual e de gosto refinado.
Precisam entender que aqui é o nosso lugar e se nós que fazemos nosso futebol,
não dermos valor, quem irá dar.
Sobre a
CBF ainda não ter percebido ainda que a seleção nacional merece ter ao invés de
um técnico, uma comissão de notáveis, (técnicos atuais e de sucesso
do futebol brasileiro), opinando e determinando as convocações, pois assim teríamos uma melhor condição de chamar jogadores, independente do gosto pessoal e
individual de uma pessoa somente e até de algumas nuances esquisitas, como a
maioria destes jogadores serem representados por um Agente e que até por
coincidência é o mesmo que defende os interesses do técnico.
Gostei muito
desta fala do técnico, aliás, sou fã dos resultados que ele conseguiu em sua
vitoriosa carreira como técnico, não sou adepto da maneira como
conduz, mas como dizem os maiores entendedores do futebol, “os resultados
justificam os meios”, fico “peixe”.
