A partir dai, os investimentos no clube, como dar nome de King Power ao estádio, aumentaram e o Leicester voltou, depois de dez anos, à primeira divisão da liga em 2013. No ano passado, o clube acabou em 15º, o que quase significou o rebaixamento. Já neste ano, depois de uma campanha firme, conquistou sua primeira Premier League na história.

Com uma fortuna estimada em US$ 2,9 bilhões, Srivaddhanaprabha é, atualmente, o quarto maior bilionário da Tailândia e o 672º do mundo. Além da King Power, ele tem três shoppings centers em Bangcoc e é um grande entusiasta do pólo, esporte popular no sul da Ásia.

E o que é pior, o nosso País, não tem nada, nenhuma menção entre os clubes bilionários no Mundo, será porque nosso sistema de ter os clubes (empresa sem fins lucrativos), e em sua maioria sem dono, são instituições formadas muito tempo atrás e continuamos vendo a banda passar, sem organização e sem comando e que nos deixa fora do mundo.

Inter de Milão expande uma academia de futebol para a China / Inter Milan expands football academy to China

A Inter de Milão deu mais um grande passo no sentido de aprofundar os seus já fortes laços com a China, depois de seu anúncio de um acordo de parceria de cinco anos com Yitao Shanghai Football Club. Os dois lados vão dividir o primeiro projeto Inter Academy em Xangai. A fase inicial envolve 30 centros de formação, com o objecivo de alcançar 100 escolas de futebol até o final do ano.

Pelo acordo, a Inter enviará uma poderosa equipe técnica para melhorar as habilidades técnicas e táticas dos jovens na Academia. Treinadores e jogadores jovens, em Yitao Shanghai Football Club, também vão ter a oportunidade de participar em programas e eventos de treinamento da Inter na Itália.

O presidente da Inter, mais, Erick Thohir, Michael Bolingbroke, Javier Zanetti, Mauro Icardi, Marco Monti e Barbara Biggi participaram da cerimônia de inauguração.

O Diretor técnico da Inter Academy, Marco Monti declarou: "É uma grande honra estar aqui para anunciar esta parceria de cinco anos com Yitao Shanghai Football Club. Vejam que não é apenas o Barcelona e o Real Madrid que estão alargando seus horizontes e colhendo frutos na Ásia e demais regiões do mundo,  muitos clubes da Europa, estão indo também, e se fortalecer nos mercados internacionais, solidificando assim, sua imagem e seus negócios (porque vira e mexe, um consegue patrocínio de grandes empresas Asiáticas). É uma pena que não vemos nenhum clube Brasileiro fazendo isso, é muita falta de visão, de conhecimento, e de profissionalismo, pensar que só existe futebol e fãs, aqui, até parece que o mundo é somente o Brasil.

Inter Milan has taken another big step towards deepening their already strong ties with China following its announcement of a five-year partnership deal with Yitao Shanghai Football Club. The two sides will co-found the first Inter Academy project in Shanghai. The initial phase will involve 30 training centres, with the aim of reaching 100 football schools by the end of the year.

Under the agreement, Inter will send a powerful coaching team to improve the technical and tactical skills of the youngsters in the Academy. Coaches and youth players in Yitao Shanghai Football Club will also get the opportunity to participate in Inter’s training programs and events in Italy.

Inter's president Erick Thohir, Michael Bolingbroke, Javier Zanetti, Mauro Icardi, Marco Monti and Barbara Biggi attended the inauguration ceremony.

Inter Academy technical director Marco Monti declared: "It's a huge honour to be here to announce this five-year partnership with Yitao Shanghai Football Club. We can now launch our first Inter Academy in China, following on from our current projects in Japan, USA and Saudi Arabia.

"There will be 30 training centres here in the Shanghai area initially and the aim is to reach 100 football schools by the end of 2015, with the involvement of Nerazzurri coaches from the Inter youth academy.”

See it's not just Barcelona and Real Madrid who are widening their horizons and bearing fruit in Asia and other regions of the world, many clubs in Europe, are going well, and to strengthen the international markets, thus solidifying, its image and its business (because it turns and moves, one can get large sponsor in Asian companies). With his boyish face, Kaka does not look like the average battle-hardened veteran. Having turned 32 and called into Brazil's camp for A Seleção's upcoming friendlies against Argentina and Japan, however, there is not much the former Milan and Real Madrid star does not know about the game.

FIFA.com: Sao Paulo coach Muricy Ramalho has spoken a lot about the positive effect you’ve had on the team, about the fact that you run and work as hard as anyone else even though you’re a star player. Has there ever been anyone who’s played that same kind of role in your career and been important to you?Kaka: I've worked with some great players, and when you’re at a big club there are several leaders in the team, not just the captain. One player I’d like to mention is (Gennaro) Gattuso. He was one guy who would run hard and give his all in every game, no matter whether it was a big match or a friendly. I’d see Gattuso running and I’d think to myself: “Gosh, look at how much work this guy’s doing. I’ve got to help out.” It’s an active kind of leadership that has a positive impact on the team.

Many people looked at you as a youngster for a long time in your career. Do you find it strange to be taking on the role of a veteran now?It’s a new phase in my career and my professional life. I think I first started taking it on in my first international after the 2010 World Cup. There were a whole new generation of players there and some of them said to me: ‘I was in the youth team at Sao Paulo and you were my hero.’ That’s when it really dawned on me that times were changing, in a positive way though. It was like I was looking at myself back in the day, sitting there and looking at the people around me and admiring them. That’s what I see today. Sometimes we’re having a team talk and I see people looking at me and taking notice of what I’m saying. These are really good times for me.

Let’s turn to Brazil now. There’s a big debate going on about how to turn things around after that infamous 7-1 semi-final defeat to Germany.I think the improvements that can be made in the national team and in Brazilian football in general are two different things. Most of the players who play in A Seleção are based abroad and the coach has a different job to do. We’ve got the potential to be one of the best in the world. Brazilian football is very competitive, but what’s lacking is a little bit of organisation, planning and the implementing of that planning, and not just in terms of results but the long-term benefits too. It might be the case that we don’t get the results people expect over the next couple of years but in the long term it pays off. And that’s where Germany are a model for us to follow because they’ve been planning since 2006, when they hosted the World Cup, and they reaped the rewards in 2014. It didn’t happen just like that. They made plans, put them into practice and got the rewards.

You were around when A Seleção came under criticism after the 2006 World Cup and you were one of the few to return and play at South Africa 2010 under Dunga. Is he the right man to oversee this latest process of renewal?Dunga is a coach who can get players to buy into what he’s doing. I worked with him for four years and it wasn’t easy to start with because I’d been there in 2006. I started on the bench and I had to fight for my place in the team. He always manages to get the message about commitment across. Even with the fans he’s come in and done a rescue job and got them a little bit more involved again. Once again, I think Dunga could be the guy that rescues the situation and gets people committed. Maybe ‘rescue’ is the wrong word, because the commitment was there in 2014. It was a combination of things. Whatever the case may be, he’s definitely someone who can help A Seleção a lot.

You’ve never said that the national team was no longer part of your plans. How does it fit into your life today?I see A Seleção Brasileira as a reward for what I do with my club. My aim here is to play regularly and to play well, and if the technical staff think that I’m the kind of player they’re looking for, then I’ll be very happy to come in and do a job. And if they think that I don’t fit in any more, then my objective will just be the same: to keep playing and to perform at a high level here in Sao Paulo.

When you were at Real Madrid did you ever think you would return one day to the two clubs closest to your heart: Milan and Sao Paulo?Things happened pretty quickly. My idea to begin with was to see out my six-year contract at Real Madrid, but the situation changed and there came a time when I decided to return to Milan to try and get some regular first-team football. I thought to myself: ‘I need to play regularly and get back in form to have any chance of making the World Cup in 2014.’ It was my choice. I went back, started playing and though the Brazil call-up didn’t come, I was very happy with the decision I made because I got back in form again.

Your next move will be to Orlando City. How much did the desire to experience something new in another country come into your decision?That all came into it. It’s not just a question of me wanting to go and play in a league that’s expanding, though the professional side of things obviously played a part. It was the whole idea of it: moving to a country I’ve never lived in before and getting to know a whole new culture. That all helped me make the decision to go there. I’m really enjoying my time in Sao Paulo right now and it’s been really great to come back. And when the time comes I’ll start thinking about this new phase in my life and career.

Have you thought about what you’ll do when your playing days are over? Will you stay in football?I don’t have anything planned. I’ve got a contract with Sao Paulo until December and then I’ve got three more years in the USA. That’s as far ahead as I’m planning. After that, it’s all going to depend on my fitness and motivation, on whether I want to play or do something else.

Do you have any idea what that might be?If they told me right now to stop playing, I wouldn’t feel like doing anything on the pitch, like being a coach or an assistant coach. I’d rather have more of an administrative role, like a director of football, something like that. All the same, I don’t know what choices I’m going to be making three or four years from now.

Is there anyone you’ve worked with who’s done that job well and inspired you to do it?Leo (Leonardo Araujo, Milan’s director of football between 2008 and 2009) did it really well. I’ve got a good relationship with him and I speak to him a lot. Another guy who really made me think about it is (Zinedine) Zidane. When he came into Carlo Ancelotti’s coaching team I asked him: ‘But why are you coming back now?’. And he said: ‘Because I really feel the need to be on the pitch, which I didn’t have when I stopped playing. I felt the need for other things, like being with my family and my children. I was a club ambassador and I was doing the odd thing here and there, but I didn’t have this urge to be out on the pitch. And then I started to feel it. I began studying, an opening came up with Ancelotti and I decided to come back.’ So that’s how it is really. I don’t know what will be going through my head in four years’ time; if I’ll be missing the pitch or if I’ll never want to see it again. It’s just a question of letting things happen.

O que falta para o seu clube seguir o modelo à risca?

Eu mudaria apenas a ordem dos fatores, sei que na matemática isto não funciona, mas neste caso tenho certeza de que mudaria e bastante, senão, vejamos.

Primeiramente tornaria a instituição numa empresa com seu regimento moldado no que é hoje uma instituição comercial. Sem continuar tratando ou pensando que este clube, é uma instituição sem fins lucrativos que visa apenas satisfazer seus sócios e os filhos de seus sócios.

Segundo, mudaríamos o sistema administrativo, para ser conduzido profissionalmente, mesmo que continue tendo um sistema de conselho de sócios e de presidente torcedor, mas, identificado com o clube e podendo ser substituído caso não conduza sua gestão com transparência e dentro destas normas. Sendo submetido a auditorias independentes regularmente para mostrar o rumo da administração.

Sem chegar a um acordo com o clube paulista, o jogador não esconde o desejo de jogar nos gramados italiano, fato que reforça uma provável contratação.

Robinho alfinetou a diretoria do Santos, por conta da forma como o clube lidou com a recuperação de Ganso e agora com a vontade dele de deixar o futebol brasileiro.
"Fiquei triste com o Santos. Quando ele (Ganso) se machucou, não teve o mesmo tratamento que teve o Neymar. São dois grandes jogadores", disse Robinho, em entrevista ao SporTV.

"O Ganso é um jogador que tem personalidade e acaba falando o que ele pensa e, por mais que ele tenha razão, a torcida é apaixonada pelo clube e sempre vai ficar a favor do clube", explicou o jogador.

Relembrando da carreira, quando trocou o Santos pelo Real Madrid, em 2005, Robinho pediu ao meia do Santos que não siga o exemplo.

"Espero que ele venha, mas que saia do Santos pela porta da frente. Não cometa o mesmo erro que cometi quando saí. Ele é um grande jogador e com certeza vai fazer sucesso aqui no Milan", continuou.

Parece que outros notaram o tratamento diferenciado e até o descaso que foi dado ao Paulo Henrique quando se machucou. Sempre falo que precisamos ter profissionais administrando o futebol profissional, mesmo que o presidente seja e venha da torcida, aliás, como é a maioria dos nossos dirigentes.

Administrar um clube e principalmente ser a mola mestra do clube, não funciona. Vejam os problemas que resultam disso, sempre se posterga para “amanhã” o que se deveria ter sido feito “ontem” e quem perde é o clube.

Hoje o que vemos, é o próprio presidente tentando ser o “scout” do time, ser o homem que abre e fecha o clube, e logicamente isto não dá certo. O futebol brasileiro está entremeado de coisas que não se usa, de oportunidades que não se trabalha, temos um futebol exuberante na descoberta de talentos e olhem que se fosse tratado como merece, o futebol de base, o futebol do interior e até o futebol de outros Estados, como, Amapá, Roraima, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, ou seja, Norte, Nordeste e Centro Oeste, o resultado seria muito mais proficuo.

Estamos vendo uma elitização destas regiões Sul e Sudeste somente, mais o futebol brasileiro é muito mais que isto e daria muito mais frutos se fosse olhado o País como um todo. Discriminar estas regiões é um tremendo desperdício e falta de visão.

Ainda bem que vamos ter futebol em Manaus por ocasião da Copa de 2014 em Brasília e no Mato Grosso, (assim espero).
