The European Parliament has urged outgoing FIFA president Sepp Blatter to step down with immediate effect so that world football’s governing body can fully address its corruption scandal.
Blatter announced his resignation last week amid revelations relating to the arrest of several high-ranking officials on charges filed by US prosecutors.
Nevertheless, the long-serving figurehead of global football is set to remain in office until at least December before his successor is elected, and the European Parliament believes his continued presence will prevent FIFA from undertaking immediate reforms.
European Union (EU) lawmakers voted overwhelmingly in favor of an eight-page resolution making a range of demands upon FIFA to root out “rampant, systemic and deep-rooted” corruption that had made a “devastating impact” on all levels of football. The resolution is not legally binding.
Although it welcomed Blatter’s decision to stand down, the European Parliament called on FIFA to select “an appropriate interim leader” in a “transparent and inclusive way".
The European Parliament has also asked FIFA to publish the report of former US prosecutor Michael Garcia into the bidding processes for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups in full.
It praised the stance of FIFA audit and compliance committee chairman Domenico Scala, who said that Russia and Qatar could be stripped of their hosting rights for the respective tournaments should evidence of bribery and corruption in their bids come to light.
In our humble opinion, the Jerome Valcke is giving a good guy image and who is not involved, as can eat my hat if this is true. I agree entirely with the European Parliament, have to put another president now, not in December because by then all that the archives of the organization have in the entity's files, as will be properly modified or simply gone missing.
And FIFA need to change this form of voting, therefore, only come to the presidency, marked figurines, such they depend at votes from all the Confederations worldwide.

Paul Breitner On What Needs To Change In American Youth Soccer -
Paul Breitner is a very famous German former pro soccer player. Breitner was on the West Germany team that won the 1974 FIFA World Cup and scored a goal in the final. In the 1982 World Cup final, Breitner scored again and is one of the few players in the world — like Pele and Zinédine Zidane – who have scored in two World Cup finals.
Considered one of the top greatest living footballers. Breitner’s soccer career kicked off in 1970 at the age of 21 when he played for Bayern Munich, then left to join Real Madrid, only to returning in later to Bayern Munich. In total, he played in 255 matches for Bayern in the German “Bundesliga,” scoring 83 Goals. Breitner did not dream of becoming a world class soccer player but thought of playing soccer as a way to pay for his college tuition – and ended up winning seven National Championships with Bayern Munich (1972, 1973, 1974, 1980, 1981) and two with Real Madrid (1975, 1976).
A living soccer hero, Breitner is dedicated to giving back to the sport he loves dearly and to helping develop the next generation of World Cup players. As the brand ambassador for FCB, Breitner does his job by representing Bayern at national and international events and traveled to the USA for the 2015 NSCAA Convention in Philadelphia.
Diane Scavuzzo sat down to chat with Paul Breitner in Philly to discover his thoughts on the future of soccer. Here is the first part of a mulit-part series. Diane Scavuzzo:
If you were a player who had been developed in America, would you have gone on to be a professional player who scored in two World Cup finals?
Never, sad Paul.
Diane Scavuzzo: So you don’t believe you would have grown into the player you became if you had been developed in our current youth soccer world? Paul Breitner: No, I would have developed as the same as 100 (other) players in the US. You have the same types of players and everyone has to learn the same moves. Diane Scavuzzo:
You are one of the most successful soccer players in the world. Tell me, what is important for a soccer player to be successful? Paul Breitner: A soccer player has to do his job feeling free, and not being commanded and demanded – a soccer player cannot have every step and every move commanded. A soccer player needs to have the freedom to create ideas.
A soccer player must do his job playing 30, 40, or 60 minutes feeling free – and feeling free means being responsible for one position; the way he has to do defend and attack in his own way – with his own intuition. Diane Scavuzzo: What do you believe is wrong in American youth soccer? Paul Breitner:
The problem is that Americans think that soccer is a sport similar to football, baseball or basketball. Americans think soccer players are athletes – and, no way. A soccer player is a player and not an athlete. Soccer players are artists. Coaches in the USA have to realize that they are instructing, working with an artist and they are not working with robots.
American coaches are in command for over 90 minutes dictating every pass and every move. Diane Scavuzzo: Do you have to be smart to be a soccer player?
Paul Breitner: You do not have to have an IQ of 150 become a soccer player, but players need a coach who will respect them as an individuals. Diane Scavuzzo: How are youth soccer players developed in Germany? Paul Breitner: In Germany, every player is guided referring to his own possibilities, his own skills and is not treated the same way as the ten or fifteen guys on his team.
Our kids get the chance to start playing at 3 or 4 years old and these kids can play until they die. They will join their first team when they are at the age of 4 and be instructed step-by-step and discover all kinds of freedom, creativity and responsibility. Respect, partnership, fairness; we teach these values from the age of four. There is no better way than to learn everything for your life than Futbol. Diane Scavuzzo: If you were given a magic wand to change things – what would you do? Paul Breitner:
For the soccer of the future in America, it would be very positively to get European coaches as your partners. If you want to break out of a very closed soccer program, you should partner with a club with strong history of developing players. Note: Bayern had more players at the World Cup than any other club and seven players on the German squad who won the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Started in 1900,
FC Bayern is the most successful soccer club in Germany. Fans can check out the Bayern Munich online store or visit their Facebook page.
Well every one can take the sardines to his net... I do mine, I think that US need to have coachs from Brazil also, To teach how is play soccer with finess, and its not only the reason that we have lost a game to Germany National Team, that we are not the number one country in the world who have won almost every class of World Cup (Youngs, feminine and mans), we get all tournaments, we only need a Olympic gold medal for the mans teams.
Now, Germany is the only solution for all countries who want appear at the world in the football/soccer matters and this is not true. I have work and live in US and know the problems also, So, is complicated your nominee a way to developer properly the young soccer at this country.
My opinion, is a mix, not only Germany, but English, Brazilian, Spain, Italy, France, all top countrys have to contribute to see North Americans players to be suceed even because down at this country the miscegenation is large (like us in Brazil), they grand fathers and grand mothers have come from all over the world, so not more fair that have this.

FILHA DE RICARDO TEIXEIRA RECEBEU R$ 3.8 MM DE SÓCIO DA ALIANTO / DAUGHTER OF RICARDO TEIXEIRA RECEIVED R $ 3.8 MM FROM A SHAREHOLDER OF ALIANTO.

Really do not understand what else the PF is doing, I'm sure that if was nobody like me, would already be behind bars. Forgive me but I'll put those pictures of him and his family and may God have mercy on this child.
