Confederação gastou no mínimo R$ 385 mil para que 120 quartos de luxo
permanecessem vazios.
GOIÂNIA - A Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) pagou a
diária de 120 quartos de luxo, por dez dias, para que ficassem vazios durante a
permanência da seleção em Goiânia.
O dinheiro 'jogado fora' em troca da
privacidade dos atletas no hotel que recebe a delegação equivale a R$ 385 mil,
no mínimo. Esse cálculo é baseado em pacotes promocionais para grandes grupos
de hóspedes, vigentes há vários meses, como revelou ao Estado um alto
funcionário do hotel.
A entidade fechou o Hotel Mercure, construído ano passado, e
arcou com as despesas de 170 quartos por uma semana e meia - 50 deles serviram
a jogadores, à equipe de profissionais que trabalha com Luiz Felipe Scolari, a
funcionários de empresas que prestam serviço à CBF e convidados Vips, incluindo
vários representantes dos patrocinadores da confederação.
Somente três quartos dos 173 disponíveis no hotel permaneceram
com seus hóspedes - pessoas que praticamente moram no local. Dos 18 andares do
Mercure, nem a metade foi utilizada desde o domingo retrasado.
O Estado conversou com três funcionários do hotel nos dias em
que a seleção esteve em Porto Alegre para jogar com a França. Um deles afirmou
que teve acesso ao contrato firmado entre o Mercure e a CBF, no qual se
estabeleceu, por exemplo, o compromisso de que ninguém usaria a suíte
presidencial, cuja diária sai a R$ 4 mil. "Essa suíte é quase propriedade
do Mr. Catra", contou o funcionário, referindo-se à preferência do cantor
de funk quando se hospeda na capital de Goiás.
Os jogadores e a comissão técnica ficaram hospedados em
apartamentos intitulados como "superior single". São suítes com cama
de casal, TV de plasma de 32 polegadas, sistema de Wi-Fi, cofre,
ar-condicionado, escrivaninha e frigobar - que, para os atletas, só contém água
por determinação da CBF.
Mesmo com a seleção no Sul, o hotel não aceitou nenhum novo
hóspede e será assim até esta quarta-feira à tarde, quando a equipe viaja de
Goiânia para Brasília. Abriu ao público para almoço e jantar na sexta, também
no sábado, quando serviu feijoada, e no domingo. Nesta segunda, o esquema de
segurança voltou a ser rígido, impedindo a entrada de estranhos. A
reapresentação do grupo está marcada para esta terça.
Nesta quarta, no entanto, a seleção pode esbarrar com outras
pessoas. Por causa do dia dos namorados, o Mercure vai abrigar dois eventos que
já estão lotados - um almoço especial dedicado aos casais e uma noite dançante.
De acordo com a CBF, o convênio com o hotel foi firmado ano
passado, mas o planejamento sofreu alterações com a realização do amistoso do
Brasil com a Inglaterra no Maracanã. Antes, a entidade pretendia fazer de
Goiânia base da seleção antes e durante a Copa das Confederações. A CBF não
justificou o pagamento de tantos quartos sem uso.
Infelizmente as coisas aqui no Brasil não seguem parâmetros e muito
menos racionalidade, veja o tamanho do inconveniente, ter outros hospedes no
hotel, enquanto a seleção brasileira lá estiver. E mais ainda, o que a imprensa
brasileira não seria capaz de criar e distorcer os fatos, caso acontecesse
algum encontro de fãs e principalmente do sexo feminino, com os jogadores no
hotel.
Portanto, assino embaixo esta precaução de responsabilidade da
CBF, e todos sabem que não morro de amores pela instituição que a muito precisa
ser oxigenada, para o bem do futebol brasileiro, mais uma coisa, nada tem a ver
com a outra. Parabéns ao pessoal da CBF que legislou antecipadamente e
acertadamente.
