O ministro do Esporte, Aldo Rebelo, aproveitou o 12º Fórum de Comandatuba, um dos principais eventos empresariais do País, realizado no litoral sul da Bahia, para pedir aos 320 empresários e executivos participantes para disponibilizar voluntários para a Copa do Mundo de 2014 e os Jogos Olímpicos de 2016.

"Nós queremos ter 1 milhão de voluntários apenas na Copa", disse o ministro. "Se cada empresa puder mobilizar seus funcionários e colaboradores para pelo menos uma hora de voluntariado, no sábado, no domingo ou em dia de jogo, já será uma contribuição importante."

O governo federal já fez uma seleção prévia de cerca de sete mil voluntários para a Copa das Confederações, competição que acontecerá de 15 a 30 de junho. E abrirá no segundo semestre a inscrição para quem quiser atuar na Copa do Mundo de 2014. Enquanto isso, a FIFA também tem um programa próprio de voluntariado para os dois eventos.

Para Aldo Rebelo, a intenção, ao ter muitos colaboradores nas 12 cidades do Brasil que serão sede de jogos do Mundial de 2014, é melhorar a imagem do País. "Serão 600 mil visitantes estrangeiros e 3 milhões de brasileiros circulando na Copa", argumentou o ministro. "Não queremos que essas pessoas sejam apenas respeitadas e toleradas, mas acolhidas com carinho, com sorriso, porque isso será muito importante para elas. Talvez seja a lembrança mais grata que o visitante guardará dos eventos."

No evento, Aldo Rebelo também voltou a defender mudanças no calendário de competições do futebol brasileiro - tema que tem causado atritos entre ele e o presidente da CBF, José Maria Marin - e criticou a falta de profissionalização de clubes e federações do País.

"Nós somos um País que participou de todas as Copas do Mundo, que ganhou cinco vezes a Copa, que tem os jogadores mais consagrados da história, mas temos apenas 2% do PIB do futebol mundial, enquanto os ingleses tem mais de 30% e os alemães, 23%", disse o ministro. "Nossos clubes perderam a exposição internacional e nós precisamos aproveitar a Copa do Mundo para mudar esse panorama."

Aldo Rebelo, no entanto, negou que o ministério queira intervir na administração da CBF, como acusa Marin, mas avisou que o futebol é um tema de "interesse nacional". "A CBF é uma entidade privada e o governo não tem a intenção de intervir, mas o futebol também precisa ser tratado como tema de interesse público", explicou.

Dilma suprimiu, a pedido do Ministério das Relações Exteriores e da Advocacia-Geral da União, dois artigos que tratavam de regras para a emissão de vistos; outros dois que tratavam do trabalho voluntário durante o Mundial, a pedido do Ministério do Esporte; e dois parágrafos do artigo 26, que detalha a venda de ingressos, também após conselho do Ministério do Esporte - este delimitava a reserva de 10% do total de entradas de cada partida da seleção brasileira para a categoria "popular".

Outro parágrafo do artigo 26 - que tornava inválidas legislações estaduais sobre descontos e gratuidades em atividades esportivas, culturais e de lazer - foi retirado da versão final depois de solicitação do Ministério da Justiça e da Advocacia-Geral da União.

Além disso, a Lei Geral da Copa do Mundo de 2014 deixa a cargo do governo federal declarar feriados em dias de jogos da seleção brasileira e aprova a concessão de um prêmio de R$ 100 mil em dinheiro para jogadores, titulares ou reservas, das seleções brasileiras masculinas campeãs das Copas do Mundo de 1958, 1962 e 1970 (também está previsto um auxílio especial mensal para jogadores sem recursos ou com recursos limitados).

Finalmente se corrige outra “quase” aberração dos nossos parlamentares que só querem aparecer à custa do País e atrapalhar sua marcha para o desenvolvimento.

O ministro do Esporte, Aldo Rebelo, conversou pelo telefone nesta terça-feira com o presidente da FIFA, Joseph Blatter, e ambos prometeram que buscarão assegurar a harmonia na relação entre o governo brasileiro e a entidade que comanda o futebol mundial, informou o Ministério do Esporte.

O contato telefônico entre Aldo e Blatter acontece após um tensionamento público das relações entre a FIFA e o governo por conta da Copa do Mundo de 2014, que será disputada no Brasil.

Os atritos tiveram início com as declarações do secretário-geral da FIFA, Jérôme Valcke, que criticou atrasos em obras para o Mundial e disse que os organizadores precisavam levar um "chute no traseiro" para fazer a Copa acontecer.

A declaração levou Aldo a anunciar o veto do governo a Valcke como interlocutor para a preparação do Mundial. Essa decisão, por sua vez, fez tanto Valcke quanto Blatter enviarem cartas com pedidos de desculpas ao governo brasileiro.

Como sempre escrevo, o Brasil não sai desse marasmo porque temos pessoas em postos de alta importância que deveriam ser profissionais da área, por exemplo, este dos Esportes, se foi um atleta, provavelmente foi de “cuspe a distância”, e o próprio Ministro da Pesca, que recém tomou posse e não sabe nem colocar uma minhoca num anzol, em suas próprias palavras.

Enquanto tivermos este tipo de escolha politica, apenas para 'equilibrar a balança' dos interesses, estaremos caminhando para trás, ou quando mais, parados. Infelizmente não sei quando o País irá acordar e deixar estas mesmices ao largo.
