Segundo o empresário, a intenção de Gilberto, inicialmente, era realmente acertar com o Corinthians, tanto que já estava com passagem marcada para São Paulo, mas uma proposta maior do Internacional para o Santa Cruz, que acabou liberando o jogador para o time gaúcho, foi o motivo da reviravolta.

"Estava tudo acertado com o Corinthians, ele estava com a viagem para São Paulo marcada para hoje [terça-feira], estaríamos chegando às 9h45, mas o presidente do Santa Cruz optou pela proposta maior. O Inter chegou com mais dinheiro e levou a liberação. A decisão foi inteira do presidente", declarou.

"Eu não participei de nada disto. Só soube da notícia depois que já estava acertado. Foi tudo feito pelo Santa e pelo pai do atleta", contou o agente. "Eu já até me retratei com o pessoal do Corinthians, pois eu tinha dado minha palavra", completou.

O jogador já estava até dando entrevistas como jogador do Corinthians, o que chateou ainda mais Ferreira. "Ele era jogador do Corinthians até às 19 horas de segunda. Aí as pessoas vieram abordar o presidente e depois das 19 horas eu não consegui mais falar com o Gilberto", afirmou.

Nesta segunda, o jogador foi eleito para a seleção do Campeonato Pernambucano, do qual foi campeão com o Santa Cruz. Segundo o empresário, a assinatura do contrato com o Internacional aconteceu durante a festa. "Ele já assinou o contrato, foi durante a festa. Eu nem fui à festa, porque estava triste", lamentou.

A expectativa é que Gilberto embarque para Porto Alegre ainda nesta terça-feira e se apresente no Internacional no máximo nesta quarta.

Levada ao Conselho Deliberativo pelo presidente Giovanni Luigi, os conselheiros decidiram unanimemente pela criação de uma parceria. A proposta de Vitório Piffero, antecessor do atual mandatário e responsável pelo inicio do projeto, que sugeria um orçamento auto-sustentável, com todo o empreendimento sendo bancado com dinheiro dos cofres colorados, foi retirada antes da votação.

A mudança de metodologia ocorreu por uma imposição da FIFA. A entendida não aceitava as garantias bancárias dadas pelo Inter para a remodelação do estádio, orçada inicialmente em R$ 158 milhões, mas podendo chegar aos 290 milhões.

O clube abrirá uma licitação para fechar com uma parceria. O edital será publicado na quarta-feira e os candidatos terão 15 dias para enviarem suas propostas. A mais forte candidata é a Andrade Gutierrez, empresa pela qual Luigi gostaria de firmar acordo.

A solução encontrada foi um meio termo. O clube não arcará com toda a remodelação do estádio e não há certeza de que a Andrade Gutierrez será a parceira, cuja proposta é ter o lucro de algumas partes do empreendimento, que conta com estacionamento e Shopping Center, além de 12% dos assentos, por 20 anos.
