Despesas da FIFA na Copa não chegam a um terço do que vai ganhar no Brasil

A FIFA vai gastar bastante dinheiro durante a Copa do Mundo de 2014, mas vai ganhar bem mais do que investiu. A constatação foi feita por Jerome Valcke, secretário-geral da entidade, em entrevista ao site da própria entidade máxima do futebol.

"O que a FIFA injeta no país é US$ 800 milhões e o custo da Copa do Mundo para a FIFA é de US$ 1,3 bilhão, porque no total é somada a premiação para os times e os custos adicionais", disse. O próprio Valcke, no entanto, já disse que a organização vai faturar US$ 4 bilhões com o Mundial.

Logo, as despesas da FIFA na Copa não chegam a um terço do que vai ganhar no Brasil, já que a entidade vai usar apenas 32% de seu faturamento para bancar a organização com "premiações e custos adicionais". A sobra será de US$ 2,7 bilhões, ou seja, R$ 6,3 bilhões.

Valcke indicou que o dinheiro vem principalmente dos direitos de transmissão e de patrocínios. Segundo o francês, 60% a 65% do lucro vêm dos veículos de comunicação, enquanto 35% a 40% são provenientes do marketing, incluindo as placas de patrocínio que ficam ao lado do campo.

Valor comparável ao de grandes empresas

O faturamento da organização presidida por Joseph Blatter, por sua vez, é comparável ao de grandes empresas brasileiras. A Natura, por exemplo, lucra cerca de R$ 7 bilhões em um ano, valor muito próximo ao que a FIFA irá arrematar pela Copa.

A Suzano, do ramo de papel e celulose, fatura menos que a FIFA: aproximadamente R$ 6 bilhões por ano. Já a DUFRY, que opera as lojas duty free em aeroportos, ganha um pouco mais: em torno de R$ 8 bilhões por ano.

Algumas marcas famosas, aliás, lucram bem menos que a entidade máxima do futebol. A Hering, de roupas, fatura um terço da FIFA: cerca R$ 2 bilhões por ano. A loja de departamentos Renner também fica atrás: algo próximo de R$ 4 bilhões por ano.

Apesar dos altos valores, Valcke também fez questão de ressaltar que no lucro da FIFA não há dinheiro público brasileiro: "A FIFA não está usando dinheiro público ou dinheiro do Brasil, exceto dos nossos parceiros comerciais para ativarem suas marcas na Copa", afirmou.

"A FIFA não está pedindo por nenhum apoio financeiro das autoridades brasileiras, e tudo o que é gasto pelas cidades e o governo vai continuar no país", completou.

Nem precisamos comentar sobre isto, está mais que claro que eles não estão brincando com futebol. Mas, seria muito bom e interessante que os nossos dirigentes, as Federações e a própria CBF, aprendessem como se faz futebol profissional e se ganha dinheiro, estou falando, muito dinheiro, porque aqui se ganha migalhas e assim mesmo, é desviado quase em sua totalidade para outras finalidades (imagino que todos sabem quais são).

É uma pena que o que escuto em minha cidade é que futebol não dá lucros.

"Os GCs (General Coordinators, em inglês) são os representantes da FIFA

em cada uma das sedes que tem a palavra final em todas as questões técnicas e organizacionais a partir do início do período exclusivo nas Sedes", escreve Trade.

Esse ciclo varia de acordo com a área a ser ‘ocupada' pela FIFA.

Os 12 coordenadores-gerais anunciados pela federação são todos estrangeiros, carregando alguns detalhes curiosos entre eles como a presença de um ex-presidente do América-MEX, Yon de Luisa Plazas, e ainda de um jogador ganês nascido na Alemanha, Anthony Baffoe. 

Esses profissionais terão direito ainda a assessores que serão escolhidos mais adiante pelo COL e ficarão encarregados basicamente por fazer a ponte entre a FIFA e os representantes locais.

Está a prevista a passagem deles pelas cidades-sedes nos próximos dias. O sul-coreano Man Gim Shil, por exemplo, esteve na Arena da Baixada nesta quinta-feira e aproveitou para conferir também em Curitiba o CT do Caju, que abrigará a seleção espanhola, hotéis oficiais e campos de treinamento.

Ele tem retorno previsto para o seminário das seleções, em Florianópolis, nesta sexta-feira.

Os coordenadores não estão autorizados pelo COL a conceder entrevistas.

Estou começando a imaginar na confusão que isto irá gerar pessoas de outros Países querendo tornar o nosso igual ao deles ou no mínimo, pensando que estão na Europa ou o que é pior, na Suíça, (onde quase tudo tem uma precisão cirúrgica), e principalmente sem a devida competência na língua nativa Brasileira. Já estou mesmo, começando a preparar-me para viajar de moto, pretendo ir a Belize e Costa Rica, subindo pela América Latina.

A informação de que o incêndio pode ter danificado a estrutura da Arena Pantanal foi apurada pelo Ministério Público do Estado de Mato Grosso. Porém a organização do Mundial mantém a informação de que o estádio não sofreu grandes problemas.

"Todos os estudos realizados apontaram que não houve dano na infraestrutura da arena de Cuiabá. A situação para nós não aponta para preocupação. Se houver necessidade de mais estudos, serão realizados", comentou o secretário-executivo do Ministério do Esporte, Luis Fernandes, ao lado de Valcke no evento desta terça.

A Arena Pantanal receberá quatro partidas na Copa do Mundo, todas na primeira fase: Chile x Austrália (dia 13 de junho), Rússia x Coreia do Sul (dia 17), Nigéria x Bósnia e Herzegovina (dia 21) e Japão x Colômbia (dia 24).

Preocupada com o impasse sobre quem vai arcar com os custos das estruturas temporárias nos estádios para a Copa do Mundo, a FIFA aceitou pagar 47 milhões de reais por geradores de energia para a transmissão de TV, reduzindo o investimento das cidades-sede em obras complementares.

As instalações temporárias são consideradas fundamentais para o torneio, com estruturas para as áreas de tecnologia, segurança e para a imprensa.

"O que temíamos era não dispor da energia. Não há Copa sem energia. Nós intervimos porque era a melhor maneira para a transmissão dos jogos, e assim não haveria problemas às vésperas do torneio", disse nesta terça-feira o secretário-geral da FIFA, Jérôme Valcke, a jornalistas em Florianópolis, onde ocorre um seminário com as 32 seleções do Mundial.

Mas a FIFA não vai intervir na disputa entre cidades-sede e o Comitê Organizador Local (COL) sobre o pagamento das estruturas temporárias. Em Porto Alegre, por exemplo, o dono do estádio, o Internacional, disse na semana passada que não vai pagar e, após uma reunião na segunda-feira, o clube, o governo do Estado e a prefeitura se comprometeram a apresentar uma solução até quinta-feira.

"Nós já dissemos claramente, é um acordo das cidades-sede com o COL. Na vida, quando se tem um compromisso, tem que cumprir. Esperamos que elas (cidades) cumpram", afirmou Valcke.

O estádio Beira-Rio será entregue na quinta-feira, com presença da presidente Dilma Rousseff. Após a inauguração, restarão quatro dos 12 estádios a ficar prontos para o Mundial, estourando o prazo da FIFA, que era dezembro do ano passado.

Mesmo com os problemas de atrasos e polêmicas sobre financiamentos, o secretário-executivo do Ministério do Esporte, Luis Fernandes, disse não acreditar que a imagem do Brasil esteja arranhada no exterior.

"Vão ser 12 estádios bonitos, modernos e confortáveis, que não existiam antes com esse padrão de qualidade. Essa vai ser a imagem do Brasil", disse.

"Será que teria sido melhor termos os estádios prontos em dezembro? Claro que sim, mas como houve atrasos, certas obras que deveriam ser feitas umas após as outras terão que ser feitas simultaneamente", acrescentou. Ele reconheceu que em Curitiba, por exemplo, terá de colocar estruturas de TI ao mesmo tempo que os assentos. "Mas teremos um estádio confortável", disse.

A cidade esteve ameaçada de ficar fora da Copa por causa dos atrasos nas obras, mas a FIFA anunciou nesta terça-feira que a Arena da Baixada será mantida no Mundial.

"Em fevereiro estamos focados na entrega da solução... Quanto ao legado de infraestrutura, é um debate, mas o fato é que a Copa deixa um legado muito grande em termos de mobilidade urbana e infraestrutura."

Infelizmente este é o retrato de nosso País, quem vive aqui e conhece o mundo la fora, sabe que estamos precisando além de muita coisa, a começar por responsabilidade, aqui não se cumpre horários e prazos, isto não existe, tudo é feito nas coxas (para usar uma expressão bem xula), infelizmente. A FIFA precisa tomar as rédeas da situação, não somente desta necessidade de fornecimento de energia, precisa pensar também nesta tal mobilidade, ou então seremos um grande fiasco.

Concordo plenamente com a afirmação do Jerome, quando diz que fica um legado muito grande para o País, e já começa com o conhecimento da maioria da população (menos favorecida), sobre o que é “padrão FIFA”, uma excelência para o Brasil, na saúde, na segurança, na educação, e nos transportes, isto é uma coisa corriqueira e necessária para os Países que tem pessoas sérias em sua direção, que pensam em seu desenvolvimento e engrandecimento, ao invés de apenas pensarem como irão levar vantagem nisto.
